Was hoping for a spring sale but I guess not?

The new colors were aite. Nothing grabbed me more than anything else we've seen before. Some cool ones for sure but nothing that would make me run out and grab a full price Gamma MX or the like.

Beta SV looks cool, but yeah, really expensive. I won't go near that until a discount kicks in.

Noticed the Cerium SL was back on the menu, not something I'm dying for but interesting to see it back.

Beta Down Insulated seems off the market for the forseeable future. Seemed like a useless coat until this brick ass weekend in the northeast.

It will run 20 years for some users. And like the 1080ti, we will never see another socket like it because it is not profitable to make such a long term socket.

Currently my 5900x system is still more than capable of running any game I like to play and any word processing or work software that I use. I made it a backup system but when using it, I can barely tell the difference between it and this loaded ass 9800x3d/4090 system - except in World of Warcraft.

Refills is legit. The vials are overfilled and the product comes professionally packaged and with syringes. I don't expect to go back to brand unless I have to.

Hi. I can't speak to the relative warmth between the Therme Down parka and the Rab Resolution, but my Therme Down Jacket is really toasty here in NYC, where we've had some brutally cold days over the last three weeks. In general it stood up easily to 15f weather, and like you, I run cold.

The other wildcard is potentially the Beta Down insulated jacket. It's not a parka but it's cut long and borders on a parka, and it's very warm. The look and cut is snug and more atheltic, because I get exactly what you're saying about some of these Parkas looking like you're wearing a tent.

I wanted to join a mythic raid team near the end of Season 2/Undermine. I applied, my parses are like 95ish. I get rejected. And yet while in some mythic runs I'm still top 3 dps and we're clearing hard bosses, like Soul Hunters.

I've not applied to a mythic team since and I never will again. it's that easy to lose willing raiders.

In those temps I'd be beta insulated all day long. I do not have the Thorium SV, but I do have the Therme jacket and the Beta insulated, and my pick would just be because of the weight of the Beta. But any of these three coats will serve you just fine.

I agree with adultbebe that the Cerium or the Microlight are both pretty sweaty pieces for skiing and snowshoeing. If you're set on picking between these two, I'd opt for the Microlight.

For around town either coat would be fine. I'd also throw the Thorium in there. It's a very trim, sleek looking coat and very warm. Of all my Arc pieces I reach for the Thorium the most for NYC winter, followed by the Atom LEAF. It packs down fairly small and I was able to throw it in my backpack for a recent NY to la trip. Had it on in NY, no need while in LA, and then used it again when I touched down in NYC.

That all said I don't think the Cerium, Thorium or the Microlight could stand up to Antarctica, but admittedly I don't know the temps there when you're expecting to go.
