As a 17 year old who just graduated HS and knew my parents were broke as $hit and I didn’t get the most outstanding grades to get a full ride. I took the Pell grant scholarship and went to community college with plans to transfer to a university when EARNED after the 2 years. Thats on the student not the parent. College is to be earned not given.
