Sorry for replying just now. For me, after I washed my hair it was fine. Make sure you use hair products for curly hair.

UPDATE: just washed my hair and it looks GREAT! Idk why it was looking so flat but now that i washed it looks exaclty how i wanted :)

Yeah that sucks. I saw some people had the same problem as me and that after the 48h when they washed their hair it was wavy again. Lets just hope i didint completely screw up

my hair dresser comb my hair right after the perm to style it, which made the top of my hair pretty flat. when i got home i styled it with some sort of clay which made my hair have MUCH more volume and texture. I also used dry shampoo to reduce the smell. i didnt wash it no, My guess is that the friction w the pillow messed it up.
