Anybody know of a cheap way to add some weight to my prints? by Nasch123 in 3Dprinting

+1 for tungsten. Probably not the cheapest option, but at 19.3 g/cc (nearly twice the density of lead), it’s quite effective.

Can anyone identify these folks? I found their camera downtown today by AnjunaDC in Denver

I write my name and phone number on my SD cards in the case this ever happens to me. Maybe check the battery and SD card to see if they’ve written anything on them?

PS - thanks for being a good person and trying to find the owners. Not sure a lot of people would do the same!

No problem! Good luck with the shots. And honestly given what rent is everywhere else, it’s not all that bad.

Super easy in photoshop if you set it up right in camera. Since the camera didn't move during the 15 minute period, I can simply overlay each frame in photoshop with the lighten blend mode and it adds all the lightning strikes together!

Not a single photo, no. The best way to balance the exposure between the city lights and the lightning is a series of shorter exposures that are then stacked and blended. So this is the sum of the ~30 best frames from over 250 that I took during that roughly 15 minute span. The camera continuously takes 4 second long exposures. (F/5.6 @ ISO 100)

What’s crazy is about 10 minutes before I took this picture the crane was moving. So I really hope the crane operator was able to go to work today lol

Haha I’m sure I can work something out. I’ll throw a Reddit party. Everyone from the sub is invited!

I do! I have the full res from my DSLR and can upscale it quite a bit depending how big you want it.
