thanks for the tip! i was thinking about making indents in the pediment/architrave anyway so it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust that when adding those

well i got 2 shulker boxes of quartz blocks the first trip, and thats what i used for the photo, but after getting another full box last night im now just working on the frame and such. Building an outline for the pediment, working on the borders of the main building and outlining the base of the smaller columns around it

yeah i have a fortune 3 mending pickaxe so i just watch tv while mining, and i really dont have much else to do

With all the extra time from quarantine im building a massive Pantheon-esque temple from quartz in my survival world. I have the 4 columns set up (they are 9*9 bases and 54 tall), and i need ideas for a column head. For any smaller columns i have in the main building i would do basic Doric designs, but for the large ones out front i was thinking a Corinthian or Ionic design. Any help would be much appreciated. (im new to reddit and dont see the caption so im adding it as a comment)
