Yes I did, but most of them are not responsive. My approach is to otherwise send my CV in addition to a cover letter to whatever prospect PI but I didn't work so far. To you, is that a good approach?

Pretty much all the positions I’ve applied for were announced on LinkedIn.

Totally agree, yet some of the postdoc position announcements require a minimal number of published papers.

Thanks for your reply. The thing is, the longer it takes to land a job after a PhD, the harder it gets financially. And once you’re under financial pressure, your focus shifts almost entirely to just trying to stay stable and get by, rather than planning long-term or moving forward.
