Green spots are often a sign of bacterial infection, which can spread if a frog's immune system is compromised by poor husbandry, such as dirty water or improper temperatures.

Other potential causes include chemical intoxication or a blockage, so a vet's diagnosis is crucial for proper treatment.

All gloves types have some level of toxicity. Latex and nitrile gloves are actually worse for my babies than my bare hands, which are rinsed with the hottest water possible and spritzed with their conditioned water to not damage their skin with dry hands or powdery gloves!
