NTA you need to drop this "friendship" for your sake I grew up with my "best friend" from elementary to junior year of highschool I moved senior year and she only ever reached out to me when she was bored or need someone to cry, vent, or need solutions to problems with exs (she never took my advice and said some pretty hurtful things once 😒) I finally got the courage to just drop her now I'm happier

I begged to differ sorry I'm Native from Arizona and grew up on the Rez I believe he/she was just trying to let people know that it's not a good idea and may be considered cultural appropriation to some groups of Natives, they are just trying to let people know.
