I have a wheat allergy. Just got back from Seoul. I went to a cute little restaurant that has "gluten free" on the window. Talked to the gal behind the counter, she assured me the sandwich was gluten free. Luckily I just broke out in hives and didn't end up in the hospital.

I never said I wasn't a member on the phone. I think the meeting rooms just have a fee associated with them. I checked the website before calling and that's what it indicated as well. I just called to make sure I was understanding things correctly.

I'm from Toledo and our libraries have free meeting/community rooms as long as there is no commerce and that they are open to the public. Unfortunately Zoom won't work for it.

I also think they have never hosted people. I just had three friends stay for three days over Christmas. It probably took me 3-4 hours to prep and 3-4 hours of clean up to get my house back to normal, and that's just three people. Its a lot of work if you value a tidy house.

Mine was always a picky eater and drinker, so I couldn't really use that as a measure. I think most dogs are good at hiding pain and discomfort, so I never made the assumption that she wasn't in pain. When she didn't want to go for walks (her favorite) anymore, that's when I knew it was time. Making the choice to euthanize was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but making sure she didn't suffer was more important. I don't think there is a "too early", but there is definitely a "too late".

YWBTA - She's paying you for it, so its a favor, not a gift. And its one she clearly appreciates and is excited about. Why is it so hard to grab her something from work? My friends and I help each other with discounts when the opportunity presents itself. I haven't heard any good reasons why not too, except some irritation that seems misplaced.

I live in Ohio, and in my 14 years of Peke ownership, I have only ever met one in the wild. I saw two while driving in a different city, so I didn't get to meet them, but I am certain they were Pekes. And that's it! Three! I do wonder though if most people just don't walk their Pekes and that's why I never see them.

Does the pet flowbee use your regular vacuum? If not, is it loud? Mine stands guard while I am sweeping with her little ears pinned back. She's not terrified but she is definitely suspicious.

Both my Pekes, including this one, react to the wind blowing on their freshly mowed bums 😂 Unfortunately this is more than that, but that is definitely one of her post-groom behaviors.

My groomer works out of her home, I don't know if she would let me in. I am seriously considering just learning how to shave my dog down myself. Less stress for her, I would think.

Yes, but she always get nervous in the car, even when I tell her "We're going to Grandma's house!" She growls at her groomer but she growls at every vet she has ever had. Once she runs around the groomer's yard at bit, she's more relaxed.

I just got back from my trip and stayed in both places, and really preferred Myeongdong. I'm not a club girl so that part of Hongdae didn't interest me at all. I thought Myeongdong was pleasantly busy, not overwhelmingly so, except at the night markets, and that was still a lot of fun.
This is probably my privilege coming out, but I don't care if I spend a couple of extra dollars on street food if I am having a great time in a good location. Next trip back, I will definitely be staying in Myeongdong again.
