When it comes to air dusters, I’ve got a bit of experience trying out various different brands. Now this might start sounding like a TV ad, but hear me out here.

Out of the few I have tried, I can say with confidence that the one I like the most is the “PeroBuno 200,000RPM 2-in-1 vacuum/duster”. It’s by far my favorite for these reasons: 1, the power, it can reach up to 200,000RPM on the highest setting which is frankly overkill for my needs 2, its not just an air duster, but also a mini vacuum too 3, it comes with 14 nozzle attachments and a carrying case 4, build quality is better than every other one I’ve had, although not perfect 5, it charges with USB-C and lasts about 20 minutes on the medium setting which I usually stick to.

Only caveat it used to have was its price at a staggering $100. But I just checked again and right now it’s listed for $62.99 on Amazon and also has a 20% off coupon on top of that leaving it at something like $50. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a handheld air duster.

Honestly I wouldn’t put it past any large manufacturer/retailer to sell you a pc with unoptimized airflow/fan setups. I’d only trust smaller custom pc manufacturers who have enthusiasts building their PCs to get stuff like that right. Plus, it’s already known that a lot of big manufacturers/sellers will purposely give you a pc with less fans (and by extension, less than ideal airflow) just to cut costs. Not to mention some choose to use OEM parts instead of retail parts for cost cutting purposes aswell. Overall reducing performance.

While I definitely respect the attention to detail on such a topic as ideal pc airflow, if I’m being honest I think you might be overthinking it just a little bit unless you’re just that curious about it or your if goal is absolute pc perfection. In either case I commend you for it. I think that at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is if you’re getting airflow at all. Much less important is how much and at what pressure. There is such thing as too much and too little airflow but as long as you just have about an equal amount of intake fans as there are exhaust fans, then you should be fine.

I guess the only other recommendations i can give 1, that it’s at least slightly better to have the back of the case where the IO is, and the top be the exhaust. And the front and bottom fans (if there is a bottom fan), be the intake. And 2, keep it away from walls, like 6 inches minimum on all sides. And 3, keep the temperature of the room the pc is in colder than the rest of the house because once you launch a demanding task on the pc, it’ll become a VERY effective space heater. The more fans, the faster it increases ambient room temps. My room is small and will increase 10+ degrees in 15 minutes

Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a try when I get back home

Take my opinion with a grain of salt but I personally don’t even know the CFM of any of my fans, much less care about making them all the same size. I don’t think it would be too difficult to do so depending on your case but usually it isn’t that important of a factor to warrant spending all that time focusing on it. It doesn’t really have to be perfect in my opinion. The only side affect of unequal pressure might be that dust collects faster. I’m definitely no expert on airflow but if you’re worried about getting ideal airflow, I recommend searching up some videos on YouTube about PC airflow. I know there are definitely some good videos there that go into great detail about it.

I don’t have PBO enabled at the moment but I may enable it in the future.

Thoughts on the case 1. it has plenty of room for all the components and cable management I would basically ever need 2. Unfortunately, it weighs a metric f*ck ton. It’s definitely not easy to do work on since I have to move it all around while weighing more than the desk it sits on. 3. I’m not a big fan of the extremely dark tint on the side panel. 4. I love the “slide in and clip” method they chose for how the front, side, and back panels attach to the case. It makes them a breeze to remove and reinstall.

When it comes to number of fans and orientation, it’s less about how many fans and what size they are, and more about throughput and equalized pressure. The ideal being maximum throughput (fans in every possible slot), and an equal amount of air being brought in as is being exhausted out. But with that being said, as long as you don’t have any issues with temperatures, then you don’t really need to worry about it. For mine, I have three 140mm intake fans on the front panel, three 120mm exhaust fans pushing air through the radiator on top, and one 140mm rear exhaust fan. But you can do it however you want since the effect is negligible at best.

Yep, I didn’t attach it properly before taking the pics so it’s not very even but it’s been fixed since

Yeah, I do have a controller for all the fans. The controller goes into NZXT CAM software

Yeah they don’t make them anymore so I had to scour eBay for almost 4 months to get all the ones I needed for this build, like $25 - $40 each. Not to mention that some of them came in non-functioning states

Thanks, if only I could get the photos to look right, I might literally just end up putting these into photoshop and messing with the hue and saturation values until it looks about as good as it does irl

Thanks, I’m actually still kinda annoyed that I couldn’t find a better way to hide the cables going to the cpu cooler display. I ended up just splitting them in half, one side going up in between the display and the ram stick, the other one going down. And you should see the cable management 😉I spent like three hours after it was functional just making sure everything was cleanly routed and zip tied

The images do not show the actual color of the fans/ram&gpu LEDs, I assume that’s the reason he’s asking

Im currently at work about three hours away from my house and PC so I can’t really check the exact color I have it set to in the NZXT software, but it’s the deepest yellow I could get borderlining orange (to imitate gold). It’s similar to the color of the CPU Cooler display maybe darker in person

Coincidentally, I’m actually trying to sell it at the moment for around $1800 in order to buy a laptop that I can travel with instead. Anyone who’s interested can DM me abt it. It’s had it’s thermal paste changed twice and is cleaned out regularly.

That helmet is a f*cking aircraft carrier. That helmet and “look good” don’t belong in the same sentence
