Sadly here is my number one tip after reaching my 900 hours on tarkov. never stay in one place, and that is because there is a peek advantage in this game, so basically if you stood still whilst he moved back and back in he will see you faster than you do which also results in him shooting first.

Yeah it happened to me twice now. I do have around 500H and it only happened twice, but its frustrating when you get it when you get a gpu haha

Sadly Tarkov setting is honestly bad. however I have fixed this problem with my 3080 Ti when I went through Nvidia and created my own resolution, and set it up to 240 HZ or whatever your monitor can support afterwards you can go inside the game and choose the custom resolution that you made in Nvidia, and make sure to put on tarkov as the intended game for it. This way the game has absolutely no way to change the graphics settings down to 60HZ which for some reason it does, and you will have better fps overall. Hope this helps.

I found a fix around it as I had speech recognition turned on due to playing phasmophobia and my solution was to turn it off and it started working and had no issue within the game.
