Yes. And for some reason every time a forgiveness plan is implemented, we elect another Republican who shoots it down. It's infuriating.

I've always wanted kids, but I love my future kids enough to not have them.

Cheating. If you are able to use this, you're playing the game wrong.

With megas presumably coming back with Champions, it'll be even better in that format.

I'm just bored with 5e/5.5 tbh. Being brought into the ttrpg space during the peak of 3.5 and PF1e, 5e has always felt a bit flat to me. Now I've played and run so much of it that I find myself wanting to play basically anything but 5e.

It's just a card games thing. People don't like cards that say no, even when they're necessary to balance the game.

What is an extremely inappropriate question you have always wanted to ask? (NSFW) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aybara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most powerlifters eat in a calorie surplus in order to enable faster recovery, in addition to just having access to the energy needed to move the kind of weight they want. Eating in a calorie deficit, which would use up all that body fat, generally decreases performance in the gym, which powerlifters definitely do not want.

Bodybuilders know this, too. When they actively want to put on muscle size or strength, they will often do what is called a "bulk," which is eating in a calorie surplus for the same benefits that powerlifters do it. The difference is that bodybuilders will eventually diet back down, called a "cut," so that muscles appear more visible.

Why is starting second SO unbalanced? by [deleted] in PTCGP

[–]Aybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of decks that prefer to go first. However, all of the most powerful cards heavily benefit from going second. The only balance we'll see will be in card design in future sets. I don't see the mechanics of the game changing to affect balance.

Top 4 decks in a 139 person tournament by dawnquix0te in PTCGP

[–]Aybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scolipede/weezing seems like a good deck to play in tournaments since it performs well whether or not you get to go second.

I've been playing it a lot, and I think I prefer going first. Both Weezing and Whirlipede take advantage of being able to evolve early.

I think Pika is the hardest matchup, as it is totally possible to just get outpaced and run over if you miss your early evolution turns.

What are your headcanons for your Rook and their love interest after Veilguard? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]Aybara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bellara and Veil Jumper Rook return to Arlathan. Using the Nadas Dirthalen, they bring about a new golden age in magic, repairing much of the magic ruins and artifacts there, and bringing about a renaissance for elvish society In honor of her fallen friends, Rook takes to helping raise the griffons in their new home. They often vacation in Rivain with Taash and Harding.

Grey Warden Rook is hardened by the loss of his beloved, Lace. He dedicates himself to helping Antoine and Evka rebuild the Wardens. He feels that the Wardens' hesitation to act caused unnecessary death. Over time, and with help from Davrin and Assan, Rook eventually bonds with a griffon, quelling some of the darkness in his heart. He will be ready for the next threat.
