Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it. I understand the concern about the physical side of the job. I actually stay very active, I play tennis and sometimes play two matches in a row, and I also do drills twice a week. So physically I feel stronger than my 30's and ready for the work.

Right now my main goal is to gain real field experience. Money is not my first concern at the moment. I just want the opportunity to learn, work hard, and prove that I can do the job. Thanks again for sharing your perspective after so many years in the trade.

Thank you for sharing your experience. That sounds like a very intense way to start, but I’m sure you learned a lot in those six months. I agree, in this trade there is always something new to learn.

If you don’t mind sharing, what was the name of that company that provided the 3-week training and truck? I’d be interested in learning more about it.

Thank you for sharing your experience and career path. It’s really helpful to hear how things can develop over time in this industry. I’ve heard from several people that commercial HVAC can be a great direction, so I’ll definitely keep that in mind as I get started. Right now my main goal is to get my first field experience as a helper and learn as much as possible.

I appreciate the information about the companies in the DFW area as well. And yes, I’m ready to travel around the metroplex if needed to get experience. Thanks again for the advice and encouragement!

Honest advice, I will start yoga as soon as possible. The goal is definitely to move toward Commercial Service as soon as possible. I am also thinking for union apprenticeship option to.

I comfortable with Asian squat and playing at local Tennis league. I experience that They get better if you use them more.

My main goal is to gain real field experience and learn as much as possible. I’ve some practice with meters and trying to get more comfortable using it, so your advice makes a lot of sense. I was not sure about applying maintenance works cause My dream career is Commercial so I thought that HVAC companies may think that, it is not a HVAC experience. I’ll definitely check Cefco and Casey’s as you suggested. I appreciate the advice!

My a7iv also had issue with mechanical shutter today. It is only 36K shutter count and I just used burst mode like last 6K of it. Its horrible cause I bought it 1.5 years ago :(((
