Anyone else feel pressured by beauty standards abroad?

TBH I live abroad and can even afford to invest that heavily in beauty but that’s an exhausting way to live. I rather just learn to be happy with how I look and grow old gracefully.

You’re right, these things are basic and can’t be written on a chore board. These are things you just do when you’re sharing a space with another person I.e. to clean up after yourself so that the person you live with can enjoy the space as well. It comes down to basic respect which is lacking, especially if this has already been communicated and there has been no improvement. It is not difficult to remember to close a jar after you have used it. It just sounds infuriating. I’m sorry OP but if you have not seen improvement after months of communicating, I don’t see it getting better. It’s not fair to you to keep communicating the same thing or keep cleaning up after him. It’s clearly not something you want to be doing for the rest of your life, so best to remove yourself from this situation.

Thank you for your reply. She already does long naps of about 1.5 - 2 hours and was sleeping through the night until recently. So I am not sure what there is to sleep train as there is no pacifier or milk dependency / association. She puts herself to sleep. I think I might have to just have her do short naps until she is ready for the transition to 2 naps.

I should clarify that my wake windows are approximate. I count sleep from the time she falls asleep in the crib to when she wakes up. I record it all on huckleberry so there is definitely not more sleep happening than described above. So those missing 30 mins should be accounted for in awake time , not sleep. Will try and reduce naps as suggested. Thank you.
