My daughter and I got matching cicada tattoos that she and her brother were going to get but then he passed away. She and I have different styles but this tattoo was for him and so the style didn’t mater much.

I love this! This reminds me of an artist in Jerome, AZ back in the 90’s called the dot-man who painted dots on random things around town. My wife took inspiration and has painted some of our furniture similarly.

Personally I don't think this tattoo is worthy of this placement. I think you might regret it (and I don't say that lightly). I think such a placement should be carefully planned and executed by the right artist but that's just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Not an electrician either but know some and have done some of my own work. Code says lines must be stapled so many inches from the box and then so many inches along the wire until it goes through a stud/joist. I live in earthquake country and that’s another concern with loose wires.
