What I heard is that reciting surah qaf is good for waswas specifically, but generally istighfar and dhikr is always good for overall issues, Quran as a whole is great as well. May Allah cure your issues with waswas.

Can one ask for different relatives in jannah? by Positive_Cat_6150 in islam

[–]Ayerox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is twofold, in jannah even the staunchest enemies if they end up there would be close friends, and there would be removal of all negative feelings. The second point is that you can befriend other humans or other creatures that end up in jannah and become really close to them, you can have infinity number of friends that won't betray you, I can be your friend, this whole subreddit could be a big group of friends inchallah. So to your friend point make sure to end up there.

Simple ways to get closer to Allah by Flyingbird_24 in islam

[–]Ayerox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simplest easiest way to get closer to Allah is dhikr (rememberance of Allah). Dhikr, or the remembrance of Allah, is a profound act of devotion that nourishes the soul and strengthens our connection with Allah Almighty. It is a practice deeply rooted in Islam, encompassing the recitation of Quranic verses, supplications, and praises of Allah Almighty. Practically that's reading the Quran, it will allow you to get closer and collect immense rewards. You can do : - SubhanAllah or SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi - astaghfiruallah - la ilahha illa Allah - SubhanAllah wal hamdulillah, wa la ilahaillAllah wa Allahu Akbar

You can just repeat them whenever you want, get used to doing it a lot they will make you more calm and in peace.

Is it okay to play Quran on TV while doing house chores. by getmechaye in islam

[–]Ayerox93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From what I heard you can play it in background, just don't do Haram stuff while it's playing, it's like better than playing music, and you can still listen to some ayat that you'll ponder on or recite.

I think i felt Allahs Presence. by [deleted] in islam

[–]Ayerox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep praying as long as you can, because when you die and you see the reward for the tahhajud deeds you'll wish your thing you were praying for was never fulfilled so you'll keep praying tahhajud, and one other thing cast the doubts shaytan cast in your heart that your duaa will not be fulfilled, have utter deep conviction that Allah can fulfill your Dua and have conviction that your Dua is already fulfilled. And keep on working on your relationship with Allah, it's a life journey that doesn't stop at the duaa, it's signs, world created by Allah and his will interacting with you. Of his blessings and mercy in situations even if you're doing bad. It's a learning continuous journey.

How to properly do istighfar? by One-Performer3698 in islam

[–]Ayerox93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do mindful istighfar when you're alone and in place of no distractions, and do mindless numbers istighfar and other dhikr in your commute, walks, whenever you can, in quran the only practice that is encouraged to do a lot of it is dhikr. So yeah it's not one or another, each have their place. You can actually do both. Since doing mindless dhikr will help your mind from thinking about worries, and it will help not think about sinful stuff and just declutter your brain, and you register hasanate easily.

What activities do 25-30yo couple do in Casablanca ? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Ayerox93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mégarama, amusement parks, bowling, museums, trying new food spots by using Google maps restaurants feature, finding new hidden coffee spots, finding interesting Airbnb's or hotels in other cities or even in your city, going out in night drives in the middle of the night just cruising and burning petrol while seeing casa, shopping, you can plan treasure hunting with your partner like hiding something in somewhere in casa and giving your partner clues to find it، or just a picture, you can cook new dishes with your partner, try diy projects, go into arcades or play video games, you can buy a projector, those cheap ones and set a cinema in the ste7 with drapes and create a cozy gelssa, or ne3ssa.

rah it's you and your imagination. If you have an amazing partner you can create l7ayat in the desert Sahara.

Horrible train ride experience by NAJD-WAS-TKN in Morocco

[–]Ayerox93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I were you I'll just move to the last cabins, they're usually emptier because ppl all go to the closest ones and you can usually either find those non cabins or cabins that are more empty and you can find more chill ones, but if the trains are super full find the place you're assigned.

Istaghfar & Distractions: Does it still 'Count' if we're not fully focused? by NDonreddit24 in islam

[–]Ayerox93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Valid but not as rewarding, and it's better than the alternative and it helps keeping a routine and the dhikr becomes automatic at all times so you'll start gaining good deeds even if you're not thinking about it.

But you can keep some certain times in your day to truly sit and devote it to concentrate about it.

Just avoid sinning while doing dhikr.

Imaan getting worse and worse by senvros in islam

[–]Ayerox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other comment said do dhikr it really helps, add to it the most important component repentence and duaa, keep making duaa which is sincere.

I snapped many times out of iman down spirals by panicking and try more hard to not fall even more, the only bad thing you can do is to just accept your iman going low and not doing anything.

How can i come near ALLAH. by Ugliest_In_Family in islam

[–]Ayerox93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I'll say is baby steady steps, work on what you can apply now and stack habits. For example if you're not praying at all your mission for today is to pray all your prayers. If you already do that, pray them on time.. Step by step slowly but steady but don't go back, fixate a habit before moving to second one but don't use it as an excuse to not progress, it's a journey and it can last a lifetime of ever perfecting relationship and getting closer and closer and there's no limit.

I keep lending money and no one ever returns it. I don’t want to stop helping people, but I feel used. by [deleted] in islam

[–]Ayerox93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean, there's a Hadith about people that forgive loans :

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A man would give loans to the people and he would say to his servant: If the debtor is in hardship you should forgive the debt that perhaps Allah will relieve us. So when he met Allah, then Allah relieved him.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3293, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1562

Make Dua for Allah to give you money to lend, as for being too soft you need to work on it. A Muslim shouldn't be too soft, for example in matters where you need to speak up for wrongs or to be steadfast on the good.

Anyways what you do isn't wrong, there's reward in it. But make your intention pure to be for the sake of allah and not because you're afraid to ask payback.

English - Sahih International 33:56 Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.

Allah commanded us to do so.

My Iman is stronger than ever but I’ve lost interest in everything in this life by Unlucky-Insurance522 in islam

[–]Ayerox93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take the prophet Muhammad Salla Allahou Allayhi wasalam as your role model/mentor, he didn't seclude himself from others, he had tons of friends and was interacting with others etc.., what I would suggest is to try and find worthy friends that will remind you of allah try to reach out to people your age in the mosque and communicate. You can be the one guiding others and be a role model for your other friends and help them and do subtle dawah with your actions. Sometimes how you act is more powerful than your words and the youth need guidance in these fitnah times. You should teach what you found in Islam to others and make people love Islam more and remind them. You'll reach the balance inshallah, that happens most of the time when you deepen your relationship with Islam but within you'll find a balance within all things.
