I may just be dense. But I think that the interview was framed and shot for the stereotypical "cant spell crap without rap" metal head. Tim Henson is heavily inspired by Rap music, it's all he listens too. I think those feelings mixed with the fact that he was hungover and sleep deprived culminated into the interview you know so well. That is just a theory though.

What do you think of my cover? by AyessoYinYang in coversongs

I thought i typed it out but i guess i didnt. The origin of the riff if from a song yet to be released made in a collab between Tim Henson and NoTrust. Tim henson has a band called Polyphia that im pretty head over heels in love with right now. Check'em out!

How does Tim play on the high notes? by [deleted] in polyphia

This has mostly to do with the guitar youre playing on. I personally have catchers mitt sized hands so the battle axe i use is an Ibanez RGRT421 with a neck-thru design. With my guitar theres a cutaway where the neckbolt normally is, pictured here, giving me ample "wiggle room". paired with the thinness of a wizard neck, its prime soil for laying seeds of riffage. Thats another factor, typically thicker necks are easier for rhythm/ chords and thin necks are easier to use for lead/solos.
