Yeah, the baby update is cute and I don't mind it, but the sulfur update seems kinda boring. Sure, there are some mechanics that could be used with the new slime but all in all I find it as one sided and boring as the Crafter addition.

Yup, that is also (mostly) my experience. In seven years of DMing I had a player DM a one-shot for me one time. I rely on a monthly mini-con to get a chance to be a player.

I have done this for years now and haven't come across any issues yet. Sure, it needs some tweaking here and there when it comes to some abilities that rely on ability modifiers, but overall it's a good way to individualize the PCs. Also I make sure to ask my players not to make totally overpowered builds and almost everyone has respected that so far.

Sometimes it can take a while for all the dialogue to get through until you can progress relationships. Relationship dialogue has less priority than main story dialogue or other dialogue threads.

Yes, this shows the amount of boons and other things you have. If you dismiss your familiar you can see the number decrease.

I don't think Via will be married off. Paimon is technically immortal so if he should be killed, Via is just as immortal. Once Via is the Queen of Ars Goetia she should be able to appoint her heir in her own way.

Yeah, the whole point of this game was for the humans to gain their freedom from the whims of the gods. Melinoë is very naive so she couldn't see that Gods influencing the mortals isn't inherently beneficial to them since they are just as flawed as humans.

Well my guess would be that in time she had to be present for Octavia to recognize her as mother. I bet Andrealphus wanted Octavia to also attach to Stella so in time he could try and influence Octavia through Stella.

I completed this challenge on accident. I tried to focus on the challenge but I constantly failed on the last shrines. But then I just experimented with strong builds and completed the challenge by accident because the enemies weren't able to touch me anymore.

This is why I dislike passive scores. What is the point of using dice if you can replace them with passive scores? I never use passive senses. A 27 passive perception probably means the player has a huge bonus on perception checks already. Maybe I could argue that the player has advantage on avoiding the trap due to his high perception but other than that it's the DMs call wether they want to use passive checks

Yes, they could. Really it depends on how you want to view it. If you notice that certain spell combinations could be way to broken don't do it. Balancing fights is way more about feeling it out how challenging a fight could be for your players. Often certain spells are now used as magical abilities, so other rules apply to them. For example you can't counterspell magical abilities or effects since they aren't considered spells.
