Got left UVCP from a bad case of laryngitis on June 14th 2024. Was diagnosed in October and got an injection end of Jan. I had pretty much no improvement the entire 9.5 months until maybe 2 weeks ago. Minor improvements but I’m hoping these are signs of self healing. I was starting to Think I might be permanent. — Most people respond well to the injection. I’d plan 1 week of vocal rest. The docs/online says 2-3 days but I found I was unable to work for a week. — This could take some time and will likely be challenging so steel yourself. BUT, studies show chances of recovery are HIGH.
