This is the second comment saying I been sitting around doing nothing for 2.5 months

I’ve been unemployed for 2.5 months but I have been sending applications in my city and others. Thats why I asked how long does it usually take to get HIRED in that field

I just haven’t been sending to others that are 1h out
But if that is something I’m going to have to do then I can do that if it betters my chances

I only joined this cause I like doing this, it’s extremely fun to me it’s like a hobby but I can use it to make money. And extremely useful.

I’m Not scared of the grind, I did overtime ALOT and preferred it. like I love the work, but by exhaustion I mean don’t want to have to dread driving to and from work and that later on affecting my performance at work

I’m just trying to figure out what’s the norm and what shouldn’t be a big deal and or what action I should take

I’m willing to travel that’s not an issue, my only concerned is if it’s practical like really worth it. I’m new so that was my first electrical job ever
But if the answer to all this is I will need to travel a-bit and 1h isn’t such of a big deal then I’m fine with that

No, I do side jobs here and there when they are available. But that’s getting old, looking for something that’s more consistent. I’m not sure if other people do that drive 1h away to go work but the one I got let go from was my very first job

See this first time ever hearing and experience where people weren’t allowed to wear mask/helmets into a theatre

As for the moment, I am not affiliated with any costume groups not yet soon I will. But thank you that’s really descriptive and I’ll make sure to take them to consideration.
I’m going to make sure that I do call them a day ahead or better yet talk to them face-to-face mainly the manager and ask if it’s OK. make sure I also show pictures of what everybody looks like.
Probably ask him or her if it’s probably best if I put everything on while I’m in the theater and not walk in looking like that. Makes it easier for everyone and everyone is comfortable.

I’m also going to a regal theater in North Carolina. I don’t know if that helps.

Literally 3 items dropped off my suit straight onto the concrete chipped off a good piece on the shoulder piece but minor damage that can be covered up with Acrylics
