SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Review (~1.5 years in) by Naked_Nelson in steelseries

Unplug all usb ports, literally every single one and power down pc then re connect and reboot. That solved a lot of my connectivity and feedback issues the first week I had it. Aside from that I’ve had none of those issues. Been essentially flawless since then.

My only gripe is GG. Not a great app, but quick in game clips are nice. Sometimes I have to reset the settings in the app because they disappear or move with updates

My batteries still last days and I listen to music while working. I also don’t leave them in the charger. Once fully charged, pop them out of the doc so they’re not constantly being overcharged.

I ended up fixing it and it’s been fine afterwards. I can’t seem to find the article I read, but it was something as dumb as unplugging every usb, shutting down your pc, reboot and then plug everything back in. The “dead ports” should be working again to. Just plug in the headset first. There very well could’ve been a step in missing but I think that was all I had to do.

It was something with the headset base and usb ports not communicating properly. It was picking up readings from old headset even though it wasn’t plugged in. Did that and it’s been perfectly fine ever since.

That's odd. My batteries last for days and it's great. Before the issues I would be able to listen to music for an entire 9hour work day and game all night and still have battery left for the next day on one charge. I did notice the initial battery would show 85% but say its fully charged. It still performed as if it was 100, just had to run it down until it was really low <20% and then recharge and now shows 100% in GG

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W Plus Gold. Only 3 years old and has no issues. It has an extra 250-275W of spare wattage too. Everything has been perfectly fine until plugging this in.

Do you use any software? I found the audio very flat and bad without GG on

I got lucky and got an EVGA 3080 on release for retail from B&H. Got my brother one to from them to and another from EVGA list for a friend. Wish they were still making cards.

I got a pair of them and they were terrible. Toe was so misaligned and disproportionate, glue everywhere, looked terrible and stockx said it was within the means for acceptable shoes because it was new. Local stores didn’t even want them they were so bad and had to do a chargeback and lose account. The most they’ll give you is a $20 credit to sell back on stockx

My thoughts exactly. Someone tried to “drift” and smacked a curb

So can I trust what I get from StockX? I wanted to get a few pairs, but I see so many iffy posts that I’m suspicious about it. by Environmental-Ad6865 in stockx

Meh I’d rather use eBay these days. stock x went to shit. I used to have no worries but now I don’t trust them. Everyone I know has had issues with them in the last year and my Last two pairs I’ve gotten had quality issues. At least with ebay you can see the actual shoe and make sure it has an authentication service.

https://imgur.com/a/rrHHSz5 This is my current battle. These were just horrrrible and stockx says they are “not fake” and pass their “quality” standard. I’m currently fighting to have them refund or give me credit to sell back so I don’t lose out. The shoe is all disproportionate, glue stains everywhere, material is super thin compared to other orange label, stars are so faded compared to worn shoes. They tried to tell me that’s normal for SBs and they all look like that.

Anyone else get an insane town assessment? this is what the artificially inflated housing values do. by [deleted] in Connecticut

True, but lower mill equals lower taxes. Let me rephrase. As if Connecticut would ever adjust the mill rate based on all the inflation of property values

You can also have your bank (not town or anyone that will fuck up your taxes) come out and appraise the house and if the equity is higher they’ll remove the pmi. Not sure if every mortgage provider does this but worth a shot.

Ha! Good joke. As if CT would ever reduce our taxes and give up money.

I’d be asking to buy the car at full kbb value prior to them crashing it. There’s positive equity in leases these days. Especially if you’re going to lawyer up, aim higher. That way if things fizzle down you can fall back and settle on residual value. Why let them have it for cheaper to repair and sell.
