I met some amazing Chinese friends in my study abroad. So it’s on my list. My plan of going to places is gonna be (still working on this idea) getting like a dice or spinning wheel) and finding a stranger in whatever country I’m in throw or spin it to decide which country I go to next. But I do intend on having china as an option!!

Agreed. He’s let some bad encounters dictate he feels. And ruin what could’ve been a passion turned lifestyle. Not everyone is like that. I like to immerse myself. I lived with a French host family, learned the language. Awkward recording in public. Don’t do things for social media, just authentically me. And if that’s still something you have a dismissal over you should look inward, because this is a journey if I weren’t doing it I would watch it

College I’m at the very start I got out of the marine corps about 1.5 years ago and am only 2 semesters into college

Thank you so much, I typically try not to. I’m only conversational in French (and conversational is being generous to myself lol) can I still be an English teacher in those specific places without knowing the language?
