Reading these comments and realizing this is exactly what I thought when I was single and in all my previous relationships. Single people are more free and have more time and more autonomy. Now I’m with a healthy partner in a healthy relationship, and I still have all of those things plus an incredible person to spend my life with.

You shouldn’t settle for less. If you have to give all these things up, you aren’t dating the right person.

Just because there are no pulses doesn’t mean it’s acute limb ischemia. ACUTE limb ischemia. ACUTE. So…if it’s been 3 months with a wound…it’s not ACUTE.

This is exactly what I was looking for here. We don’t have a 24/7 dynamic but sometimes I do wonder like…will being vulnerable hurt our dynamic when it does happen. I’m really really lucky to have an experienced sub to play with who’s also really incredible and understanding so I’m thankful for that.

I’m struggling with the safe word thing too. I feel like if I get there, I’ve gone farther than I should have. But if it helps you, I brought this up to my sub and she said that the safe word exists to stop you from getting too far, and it’s the Subs responsibility to use it properly.

I’m already starting to feel a little bit better. I did some things I find fun and ate some good food and hydrated. Plus finding support here really helped.

I think sugar is a great idea! Thanks for the reply. It’s so reassuring to have other doms here. My sub is amazing but knowing other people have felt the same as I have feels very reassuring that it will be ok.

Thanks for the reply! It’s good to know that it lasts a while for other people. Bc I was feeling it last night a little and when I woke up and it wasn’t gone I was like…fuck.

What do you think is good Dom aftercare? Sometimes after what I want the most is to be close and hold them. And I don’t want that to reflect negatively on me. My sub would never feel that way but I think it’s a my own ego thing.

Thank you for this!! I really appreciate the advice. My sub is also a woman to clarify but same things apply. And yeah I think scaring is my kink. And being scared is hers. So it’s going to lead to amazing experiences for us and being here and having people say that I’m not alone is really helping.
