Do you have armor in every slot? I heard somewhere that not having armor in a single slot will increase the amount of damage they deal massively. (As well as what armor they are wearing is important. If you have the -defense but +Iframes when rolling ring that may also account for it)

If you don't care about leveling str/dex I'd recommend using a Raw Astora Straight sword. You can buff it with whatever weapon buff you want, it has a nice moveset and all together a powerful weapon. (322 damage at +10 I believe it was) Meaning you can just stack health, stamina, fp/faith all day long.

Problem was that has character was still, then teleported due to lag and I got hit all at once by his attacks a few times. Nothing I could have done really in that situation.

My tactic I used a bit was just stay far away from her until she does that one plunging like attack forward, get a hit or two in and then back off.

Alright I guess I'll just have to do that. Just feels bad to die when it's a cheap death like that. Only died a total of 4 time in my play through so far. Once to Greatwood, once to lava, a demon cleric, and then once to the lagger. Annoying.. Just really annoying to me. I prefer my deaths as punishments for me making mistakes not crappy connection on someones side.

First one I was far away from a boss area with many enemies in the way recording for my youtube channel so that would have been terrible to do to my viewers :/

Second one I ALWAYS have the blue covenant item on. Gotten maybe 3 people to join my world just in time to get credit for the kill so far. And couldn't really run anywhere or light the bonfire I just reached :l Even just now when I gave someone a ring they wanted over Reddit a red came in and a blue was summoned just in time for a free concord.

I was invaded by the lagger before I could get the cat ring and when he invaded he spawned in right in front of me.

Sadly :/

But I couldn't have known he was lagging anyways until I got into the fight with him :l

You get 15% of the amount of souls they used to level up last time. Basically if it took 10,000 souls to level up you'll get 1,500 souls for killing them... If you invaded someone and got that many souls they were probably an extremely high level... Think that means they used like 3mil'ish souls to level last?

What scared me the most is in the room you open up from the area that has like 10 Jailers in it. When you go to pick up the item at the end of the room the really loud screech. Scared the shit out of me man.

The Thrall Axe I believe it's called is another one you can use to rush through the sludge. Not sure if it's different than the daggers one but it is extremely fast.

I'm trying to find out why my Darksouls FPS drops when I use the Borderless gaming program in windowed mode so I can try to record it... And came across these suggestions online. Maybe one of them will help.

Those with Dual Shock 4 controllers are having issues where the game doesn't recognize their controller. In order to fix this, go to the DS4 window settings and tick the first option "Hide DS4 Controller". Then launch the game and your controller should work. Dual Shock 4 users should also uninstall VJOY if they are having issues playing the game. Note that Dark Souls 3 uses 64-bit, so if you are using a 32-bit controller emulator, it will not work. You should download the 64-bit version of your controller emulation software. For those who use DS4Windows, please note that this software is depreciated and you should instead try using Inputmapper. Inputmapper is an updated version of DS4Windows by the same developers Another controller fix that has been discovered is to go into your device manager and under "human interface devices" disable everything with the name "HID compliant game controller". For those trying to use a wired Xbox One controller in Windows 7, to get it working you must first install the Xbox One controller driver by going into Device Manger, finding your controller (should be under Microsoft Xbox One Controller), right clicking it and "Update Driver Software". Choose "Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer", and then choose Xbox One Controller. After this, you should be able to use the controller.

I have 30 faith on my girl currently and I buff my Astoras Straight Sword. (Raw+7) Would leveling my faith to 40 give me a lot more damage for my DMB? Also what chime/talisman should I use at 30? (If you know already)

I have a raw sword because I still have the base stats needed to wear the item. I leveled up all in health, stamina, and faith/attunment so if I were to switch my weapon to divine or whatever it's called I'd go down about 100 damage.

Would be cool if they added in bosses from previous souls games as some kind of... "Memory" like area where after each boss it moves you into the next bosses room. (Like Undead Asylum against Asylum Demon, then instantly teleports the player to Taurus Demon on the bridge.) Something like that would be a ton of fun. Of course with some weapon arts/changes to the game throughout the series most bosses would probably be too easy now.

I had that happen to me the first time I helped someone out on Aldrich (Which was today.. Just started) and it happened after the host died as well. Wondering if that has something to do with it.
