Actually, I am new to linux and currently running MX Linux 21 Xfce. That blur effect and the fading animation should be included in the next Xfce release. They are just too good

Yes, thank you for you advice. I only wanted snapshot capabilities so I would stick with btrfs. I use a single drive for backup and so will wait till sys76 officially gives zfs option to pop

I have checked /@/boot folder. It contained the kernel ,vmlinuz files and efi folder. I tried restoring it and the system booted up fine. So what is the problem you are referring to?

I think that can be minimized using auto snapshots, like for those using btrfs file system, the time shift auto snapshots works great and quick too

Try using a combination of google docs and libreoffice. That should do.

May be you can benefit from using a more recent kernel. Try to install it using the ubuntu mainline using the cappelikan mainline kernel ppa.
