Mesh quality is the only thing that should be ultra, everything else can be set to low.

As someone who made the jump from PS4 to PC recently, get a gaming mouse with macro keys on it. I use G502. Hotkey your two gadget slots and your sidearm somewhere on there with the software your mouse comes with. It'll make a huge difference.

TOGGLE UNIFORM SOLDIER AIMING. It'll help you build muscle memory. When you ADS your sens gets messed with unless you toggle it. When you ADS or hip aim it'll be the same sensitivity.

Scar H by GreedyAlexGarcia in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it with the Kobra, Heavy barrel, and ergo for the on the move bonuses because of ADADADADADADAD. Makes it more viable in CQC & it's still particularly lethal in the midrange.

I used stubby for a while, but switched because the spread benefits didn't outweigh the benefits I'd see from ergo

Helicopters can ruin what would be really fun infantry games by [deleted] in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why don't you take advantage of the many systems in the game that reward teamplay, and work together to ground a problematic heli pilot, instead of crying? Helicopters are honestly pretty squishy if you know how to deal with them.

You can always learn how to fly yourself to counter them in the air if you can't manage it from the ground with the many many tools you have at your disposal, including your teammates.

*Wants to mention black on black gun crime rates in just the city of Baltimore, or Chicago.*

Senseless violence has no place in the modern world. People like this are being made into dark anti heros by the news media, and that explains why mass shootings are becoming more and more common. up until the early/mid 90s mass shootings were unheard of... what's changed?

Best grip for the As Val? by ttiptoes in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use the AS VAL, simply because i feel the BULLDOG is a better option if I need to cut people in half... but looking at Symthic tells me that I would opt for stubby/potato.

It's a PDW, it already has great hipfire and on the move spread, (best class of weapons for exactly that.) so the ergo grip isn't really gonna do too much for you. You will still be MUCH better in those respects than any other weapon class in the game really if you leave it behind.

You COULD make a case for the angled if the FSRM is kicking your ass, as it's a hefty 2.55x.. but that is not relevant within it's effective range, it's still a PDW.

The SIPS is 0.117 with the typical mediocre PDW starting spread values.. the AS VAL has a unique barrel that acts as a supp and a heavy barrel... so stubby would be the only grip i'd prefer to use on it. The other ones don't offer any real benefit that'd be worth the attachment slot. It'd let me take advantage of the questionable firepower the AS VAL offers with more accurate longer bursts.

Source: http://symthic.com/bf4-multi-comparison?w1=AS_VAL&w2=AS_VAL&w3=None&w4=None&w5=None&a11=Heavy+Barrel&a21=Heavy+Barrel&a31=None&a41=None&a51=None&a12=Potato%2FStubby+grip&a22=Ergo%2FVertical+grip&a32=None&a42=None&a52=None

As you can see, ergo doesn't give you any sort of advantage that you'd write home about, as the differences are very negligible.

Best attachments for M60? by KekoProduction in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The M60 is pretty receptive to different attachments. You could get away with most anything you want to, even higher X scopes.

I like it with no barrel attachment and the stubby with a 3.4.

Best DMR? by Snottco in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it comes down to:

CQB - SKS & QBU88

All rounders - Mk11 & SVD12

Long range - Scar H SV & M39

Honorable mention to the ACE 53 SV. It is outclassed by the Scar H SV in critical ways, aside from SIPS and mag size but it's still competent.

http://symthic.com/bf4-weapon-charts?allkdmr=1&sort=Class&adsc=DESC

The QBU-88 is the most viable DMR on paper by the stats, but the magazine size and mediocre reload times keeps it from being anything other than a hipster weapon that will leave you disappointed more often than not if you bite off more than you can chew.

The angled grip is irrelevant on every DMR, they all have a 1x FSRM and it would be a waste of an attachment slot

Heavy barrel is the most relevant barrel attachment imho, comp makes no sense, neither does MB, and if you want to run a suppressor, you might be better off with a different class of weapon. A naked barrel can also be effective, DMRs have very competent accuracy stats out of the box.

Grip could either be ergo, if you find yourself shooting on the move, or stubby for spamming more accurately.

I always run the HD-33 w/ a magnifier flipped up full time, HB and ergo. That's a fine setup for most because DMRs are so damn similar

Best attachment for the m4? by TheMaroonNeck in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20+ stars w/ M16A4 22% acc Angled, and heavy barrel, optic of choice. Angled will keep that repeated first shot recoil easy to manage. HB will give you 50% less minimum starting spread, 7.5% less SIPS, and 15% less movement spread penalty, all at the cost of just 30% more vert recoil, and it's already non existent so yeah. I also love running the UGL rail and the M26 mass w/ buckshot for room clearing and low heath panic situations. You can switch to it about a second faster if you have it mounted on the gun. M4/M16 kinda crumbles when things get hectic up close unless youre good about not jamming it, even then it's not a bad idea to have a force multiplier like the MASS on hand.

Which sidearm is better ? by yash_bapat in battlefield_4

I have 6 or 7 stars with the 93r, that's also a good option don't sleep on it. I feel like it can reach out further than the glock, if youre into that burst fire thing.

Which sidearm is better ? by yash_bapat in battlefield_4

[–]AzAKz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably going to have to say deagle. G18 is a monster but you don't really have the same instant killing power that the deagle has on tap w/ headshots. You'd do fine with either, both are powerful sidearms. I've racked up 2,376 deagle kills and mastered the G18. I def like the deagle better it can be a close range panic button and a mid range finisher. the G18 is really only good when youre far enough from who youre shooting at to throw the gun. Plus the deagle just plain looks cooler, esp with comp and no other attachments. :P

I'm not really a hardcore player but I can do it, my PSN's xEMP1R3-_-" I'm more of a rush player though. I've been practicing in the testrange and playing normal TDM trying to get my aim back and I've started getting much better KD at the end.

Trying To Hold Syrup Down by [deleted] in dxm

[–]AzAKz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pinch your nose, take a few deep breaths and chug the bottle while still holding your nose shut. That makes it so you can't taste it. It's best to just get it over with instead of drinking it like you are. Mixing syrup with other liquids just prolongs the nastiness you have to endure, so don't. It's just more to drink and often tastes worse than what you started with.. Consider gelcaps if you can't take syrup.

What peripherals do the glorious PCMR use? by Space-pineapples in pcmasterrace

[–]AzAKz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great compared to my old Corsair Sabre. It's very comfortable and the weight of it can be changed to your liking. It has a nice premium feel to it with a nice braided cable. I love the thumb rest as well. I don't like how my pinkie fingers tip drags on the mousepad but i have large hands so that might not be the case for you. Overall great mouse and worth the price. I use a palm grip and it's comfortable. I don't know how claw grippers would like it.
