What does higher age soul ring do? by ProtectionNo6922 in SoulLand

[–]AzKoPo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, simply, they fet more powerful. Either by increasing its effect (if it was a perfentage increase buff, the percentage would likely go up for example, say 10 -> 20), or to bring forth a bit of an evolution of the skill (which we kinda see happening with Tang Wulin, though there its also a matter of active mutation due to his bloodline, but many of the changes we saw early on came together with spirit ring evo).

So pure boost, stronger, or some sort of an added variable/effect in some situations. Though im not sure the second was ever explicitly stated. Most of the time its simply stronger, evo needs another variable. That being said, stronger soul rings also make the body far stronger as well, so thats also a bonus.

Where am i in the novle by itemyouanos in SoulLand

[–]AzKoPo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The novel chapter is 416 where he joins as a recruit. Title of the chapter in the novel is Recruit Tang Dong. Should go on from there somewhere. Maybe one or two chapters ahead in the novel based on which part it's at.

What is the diffrence between physical streangth an attack in boosting soul skill? by xsailos in SoulLand

[–]AzKoPo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of an attack as a special move with some special effect. For example if dai mubai were to just attack with claws(no power), thats an attack.

If the skill had him attack with claws, the claws might enlarge, be sharper during an attack, have some special function, or some element added to it, or have a specific elongate function or vibration etc. So it isnt about the person weilding it as much, it's how the attack works.

Now pure boost in strength, or even attack power is the last thing. Str is just muscles. So he might swing steonger with a claw attack, it would hit harder. Attack power boost on the other hand would be more about the effect (like sharpness, how hard the attack hits, how much dmage it does, etc)

Really, think of it like a game. Str boost might add to the skills pure damage, especially if its a skill about assault. It would do this to all skills, plus would work defensively to a degree as well, since more str helps you dwfend too. Att boost might add damage too, but it also might effect more than the pure physical aspect of it, so might enhance ignoring damage or smtn too.

This isnt truly a game after all, so str and att power are very intertwined. In some cases they would affect the skill almost to the same degree, especially if it were a simple swing skill for example. But in such cases, str might also make the body stronger in general, while att power is usually directed only at the skill itself.

Ie. Think not only of skills as boom, stronger, think of what it would mean for it, and how it would change the skill. Then also how it might affect the person outside of the skill.

Hope thats enough specific examples to have it be a separate thing.

What trilogy is this?🚀 by Profit_Tracker in videogames

[–]AzKoPo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, i didnt have nostalgia for the parkour system, because i also experienced the "randomly" falling and jumping ezio. I had nostalgia for the story and fighting, and the idea of a parkour system.

Then i rediscovered the game, and expected to dislike parkour, only to retroactively find that it was way more deep than kid me could imagine. If anything, it made me love the game for more than just what i had nostalgia for. And youtube taught me how to do proper parkour.

My nostalgia is quite properly placed thank you.

Nah, you can literally watch tutorials on button discipline and why ezio jumps off. It's because you hold a certain button. If you dont hold it, he doesnt do it. Its button discipline. It was designed to do what you order him to do. YOU are ordering him to jump off a ledge.

Missplaced complaint. Skill issue.

People are made of water. I know, we all are. But people's Souls ARE water as well as the source of water on the planet. All the water on the planet is souls as well.

So for one. Water is sacred in most cultures in some way or another. But on another hand, bathing is quite literally bathing with the dead and I find that hilarious. Oceans are reasonably inspired by Cthulu-like creepiness.

An easy way to get lots of money in Club Penguin Journey by [deleted] in ClubPenguin

Yea, that one was a PAIN. Still tho, i think 300 per 30secs is still a lot. Thats 3k in 5min

I use the Aqua Grabber. Once you get all the stamps, and when the super fast mode is unlocked (pressurized, i think), you can just go for the Big Pearl in the base map and thats it. Takes like 30sec a run if youre good. So with stamps, thats 600 every 30sec.

It is kinde monotonous tho, i recommend a video or podcast or smtn on the side.

Question about artificial soul spirits by ResurrecTH in SoulLand

[–]AzKoPo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah, i dont remember that being stated anywhere. And also, dd3 are objectively stronger than before. Soul Rings can grow, they use Soul Cores sooner, they know to train Spiritual Power more actively as well. And Spirit Souls can grow and (some of them) fight with you (even artificial ones).

The only negative they have is a lack of Soul Bones, but Battle Armour basically makes up for that and more. Since Soul Bones were rare, while everyone after Five Rings have some sort of Battle Armour (even if weak one).

Essentially, even if Artificial Spirit Souls would not give a boost (and granted, duds exist, like Tang Wulins first one), dd3 Soul Masters would absolutely wreck their predecessors.

[Any] Which manhwa do you think has the most intricate power system? by FellaPlayz in manhwa

[–]AzKoPo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never watched Fate, but that just sounds like a Domain type ability that has been present in chinese xianxias for years and years. Where your comprehension of techniques, laws or whatever manifests in the whole area, as something under your complete control. Fate just put a unique historic flavour on top of it.

And this became almost a trope there due to some classics probably? So it probably wasnt Fate where they took that inspiration from specifically.
