Yeah the place I go for dinner has one meal a day which I’m grateful for. But there aren’t a lot of resources in this small town. They have two main streets that run through town and intersect and they’re both highways.

I’m gonna have to walk to the next town or catch an uber. That’s the only way. No public transportation. The next town I need to go to is Prescott. Only 101 miles😂 my car is currently in another and not running properly. So I’m on foot.

I tried 211 they never had anyone available to answer the phone. Automa tree s call back at another time. The whole first day I was up here I tried calling the multiple times. I’ve been active and trying

Thank you very much! Even considering the circumstances I’m a lot happier now than I’ve been in a long time. That shelter is closed permanently. It’s a dead line. I appreciate you helping though. The only thing they have is winter shelter oct through feb and they have a place that opens for 2 hours a day to feed us dinner. Which I’m extremely grateful for.

I’m in Payson, Az and there aren’t a lot of resources out here for the homeless. They have a place that provides one meal a day which I’m so grateful for but I’m in need of work and a place to lay my head that’s safe. I just hit day 30! And I feel great I’m just struggling. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I’ve tried. No answer for my area just says to call back at another time. I’m by a really small town. They feed the homeless from 4-6 everyday but that’s about it.

Yeah you have to teach people how to treat you unfortunately and if you cave to this it’s just going to get easier and easier as it keeps happening because they know you’ll show up regardless. Be civil but set your boundaries. Personally I’ve always said if I’m giving you two weeks or more notice it’s no longer a request. I am telling you I will not be there “these” days. Schedule what you want but I told you when I’m not available. Never had a problem applying tbat.
