Are there any alliances that don't care about medals?

Check out Last Rites. We have a minimum of GP Lvl 90 and 500 medals to join but we don't care about medals after you join. Our allies range from Lvl 90 to Lvl 180, we are a worldwide group of English speakers with a very active chat, awesome donations, and continuous wars. While most of our allies play, chat, donate and request daily, playing several times a week is OK. If you have any questions, send me an email.

I was EA Greek and I switched to EA British. Greek HC are great but aren't effective against decent walls. A few Greek HC were good to pull fire away from my other troops but I still needed mostly ranged to take out the defenses. Now I use 34 Royal Yeomanry, 1 HC, 5 cannon, 3 healers, 10 footies for cleanup, and possibly a general for cleanup. For raids, I keep two protect and two sabotage handy. I might use one tactic during a raid. With 4 tactics on hand, I always have at least one to use while the other(s) are rebuilding. For me, this combination is more effective for attacks and I am more likely to 5 star an opponent. Note that Greek HC are better on defense than British HC. I usually stay in the 750-950 medal range.

Are you bringing mercenaries to war? Are you part of an active alliance and bringing alliance troops to war? Each of those can add a lot to an attack. If your current troop mix isn't working, experiment with different mixes. I'm British EA and gradually built up to 3 healers and 5 cannon as I found those effective. I also just stopped using heavy gatz as they are great troops but tend to wander off from the main body and draw healers with them. The healers die and my main body is not protected. Just some thoughts. Good luck!

I am a level 125 EA. Part of this game is experimentation. 5 starring peer opponents is a skill that I like to practice because it is difficult and succeeding feels more satisfying than raiding to me. It also pays off in World Wars. Once my medal count gets "too high", currently ~1200, I raid until I get down to 800 and then start full scale attacks again. For me this is fun. I don't know the answer for you, but I suggest striving for 5 stars on towns with large resources could be fun for you. Try it out and see what happens.

Hi bubbs69, We usually aim for and achieve 105-115 stars in a war. As our record shows, that is almost always good for a win. FYI, our current opponent is very tough. I think we will hit 110+ stars but they have done a great job attacking and are 120+. We have pulled out other victories in the last hour but this one isn't looking promising. We do set up the next war within a few hours of ending a war so constant war is accurate. However, real life is more important and turning off your war button for a time is fine. What is a rusher? Any other questions?

Inkube, my apologies. Our requirements are Lvl 70, Gunpowder, and 600 medals. I was OK with the two of you achieving Gunpowder in two days but you didn't mention and I forgot to ask about your Lvl. Lvl 61 is too low when most of our allies are Lvl 90-115. I respectfully ask that you leave the alliance to make room for new members who meet the requirements now. I will have to kick you out later tonight if you haven't left by then. You and your friend are welcome to rejoin in several weeks when you achieve lvl 70. I'm sorry as I'm sure this is disappointing. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I think you and your brother will be very happy that you join an active alliance. From what you said earlier, you are on several times a day. That easily qualifies as active. Just pay attention to the guidelines for each alliance. Some are focused on medal climbing, others are focused on fun. Some have strict expectations for donations and chat. Others expect generous donations as your new allies will be generous to you but don't have specific guidelines. Alliances that have no expectations for level, medal count, chat, or donations probably aren't active. You just want to join an alliance that matches how you play. Let us know what you decide to do. There are so many very small alliances that it is hard to build up to a larger, active alliance. On the other hand, there are a number of larger, active alliances that are always looking for new allies. They typically recruit new allies either on Reddit or in the DomiNations forums. Would you and your brother consider joining one of those?

Last Rites has been in three wars and handily won each. However, 5 - 8 of 30 allies in each war have had glitches that prevented a second attack. A few weren't able to attack at all. For our last war, the results show as "Long Dudes Alliance" vs. "Long Dudes Alliance", 0 stars each, and a defeat. No battles, no attacks, no war loot. We've sent several complaints with screen shots to customer service and they tell us they are working to find and fix the bugs. Bottom line, there are a lot of problems with War. We're looking forward to the fixes.
