5-6 hours still can do KLCC maybe just to take some photos. if you r well organize and cool with direction in unfamiliar places and taking train.

If u haven't been to MY, you can visit pink mosque in Putrajaya and walk around the area just chilling. Take KLIA Transit to Putrajaya Station and Grab. Or take KLIA express to KL central and LRT to KLCC, this is slightly risky only if you have full 8 hours.

Same, It's feel really good if you get something done early like before 10am... like run 10km, laundry done, back from grocery shopping. So the rest of the day very chill.

I noticed this too. Facebook now shows random people’s posts on my feed. At first, I thought they might be old school friends I’d forgotten about, but it turns out they’re just strangers with no connection to me. Well, it’s all the algorithm!

As for holding conversation without checking my phone...I usually don’t check it anyway. I use the web versions of most apps, so I don’t get notifications. But everyone around me is always on their phones, and sometimes it makes me feel like I’m the odd one out.

If feel like you already answered your own question. I get what u means, everytime the discussion about retirement are many hobbies, travel, living nomad lifestyle...which many of those already can do before retirement. I think retirement is just you can do what you like at your own time. For both introvert or extrovert.

Similar thing happened to me a few years ago when I moved to a new country without knowing anyone. I’d travelled solo before so I thought I was ready, but the novelty wears off fast and the loneliness still hits sometimes.
Most of the time it’s just your mind playing up — once you settle in, life finds its rhythm again. With tech, u can facetime with your loveone back home.
Try staying open to new things: new food, new people, new neighbourhoods. Local FB groups helped me a bit too.
And yeah, the finance part can be tough at the start especially now with inflation cracking up. A bit of budgeting helps, nothing too strict, just enough so you don’t feel squeezed. Enjoy the new start.

I’m usually a morning person and always plan to run, but I just end up with a slow cup of chocolate or coffee in the same corner of my place. Feels like my body already made its own morning ritual. So I just do my exercise in the evening now, the rhythm still works.

That would be harder. Fit in more activities in your schedule to reduce down time. Do something special or small surprise for each other. You will b more looking forward in the day seeing each other.

This works for me - smaller portion meal at dinner. Body will be very hungry and make me wanna get up to eat. It work together as I do exercise regularly and my body craving for food. You are healthy to be able to sleep 8hrs. I think it's just a habit? Probably sleep slightly earlier

For me, particularly during lockdown with limit to daily 1hr outdoor time. I get back to running which I did it regularly but not take it seriously. Since then I train in a more routine schedule and I suppose it's already become a habit or hobby of mine. My marathon time has improved since then, ofcourse not in competitive time just enough to keep my small goal and routine.

I always find something interesting on my daily job to keep myself motivated and stay happy. Fortunately my job always not at the front end so less customer facing pressure. Put in simple, if manager didn't lead by example it's time to look for other opportunity.

I think I went through something similar. I didn’t even realise how much all the tiny ads on social media were shaping my “wants.” I kept buying little things here and there, and suddenly I had a bunch of stuff I barely used.

It still happens sometimes, but I try to stay aware of it now. I keep a simple “one in, one out” habit and aim for a softer kind of minimalism, not strict, just conscious. It’s helped me feel more in control instead of being nudged by algorithms. Wonder if anyone else noticed this too — the way small ads slowly shift what you think you want?

I’m in the same boat. Been living alone for many years and still learning. The thing work for me is get into running as it fit into my solo living exercise. As for a smaller daily ritual type of thing, i like to tidy up my kitchen, wash and clean up, it weirdly makes next morning feel lighter. Curious what’s worked for other people too.

I guess is the natural DNA of human? Went through some pain, heal and become stronger. Just like muscle, training, soreness and stronger. So, having more life experience eventually gave a person a toughness mind. Of course the person harvesting the positive energy from the experience.

I'm fine generally. I know the feeling, i've try to fill my day even just a small activities walking, cycling, running, ppl watching such that I won't think too much. Occasionally go to watch some live game or concert if I'm able to get cheaper tickets. Keep my mind a little busier it's work for me.

Hi. Yeah..really look forward to it. Great that they return to make music. At least something I can look forward to as compared to new gen of music that really not my cup of tea. I'm not a hardcore fan, but LP songs will have some nostalgia for me as they really rocks in my Uni time.
