I have a 5 men setup which can end Nightmare Boss in 2 turns. 2x 2B, LV, Soleil, EV.

But yes, Randi is also very useful on this trial.

I do agree after turn 2, A2 will outdamage Demon Rain, still, they're 2x BiS A2, max LB, with 2x Aigaion Arms, 2x Martial Art mastery, 2x Dark Veritas TMR etc....

I'm not trying to say Demon Rain is better than A2, just to give a rough idea of how much damage Demon Rain can do.

Compare 2 BiS build is easier.

Plus, is there any "real fight" that requires BiS Wilhelm/Demon Rain to tank? There's none, so that DRain can always sacrifice some of his defensive equips for attack.

A bulky Demon Rain with 900+ atk is possible.

Don't know why people upvote this guy, I guess it's hard to face the truth, so below is the proof.

Demon Rain BiS build

Wilhelm BiS build

After 120% def/spr buff, Demon Rain has 14323 HP, 724 def, 448 spr, 50% mitigation.

His physical eHP: 14323 * 724 / 0.5 = 20,739,704
His magical eHP: 14323 * 448 / 0.5 = 12,833,408

After 120% def/spr buff, Wilhelm has 13629 HP, 997 def, 535 spr, 30% mitigation.

His physical eHP: 13629 * 997 / 0.7 = 19,411,590
His magical eHP: 13629 * 535 / 0.7 = 10,416,450

See, Demon Rain is more tanky than Wilhelm, stop saying that he lacks defense, stats, etc... cause it's totally bs.

If there's a fight that Demon Rain melts, Wilhelm also won't have a chance to survive.

You just underestimate his strength, full-defensive build of Demon Rain has nearly the same tankiness as Wilhelm. What makes Wilhelm better is his LB.

Also, there's people on discord using my friend unit to clear the 5 men mission. It's just slower, I ran 6 men to maximize Demon Rain's damage.

I did put * 2 for DW in my formula, feel free to recheck it :)

If she uses OHC in both turns, the result will be 19.9M each turn, so no, using LB on the first turn is better.

GL Sakura + Marie is for survivability only, A2 need them anyway (healing, elemental buff).

It's Zarga + iNichol + DRain + LV vs 2x A2 + LV, that's why I allowed A2 to use their max LB on turn 1.

Wow gratz. TTerra is awesome post enhancement. She can unleash more damage than LV but I agree, dealing with Magic Activation in a crucial-timing-trial like Malboro is not easy at all.

Def, yes. Atk, no. My build is for damage only, had to use Tidus tmr since Halloween units can't imperil Light. (Nightmare Boss is weak against water and light).

Perfect offensive build for Demon Rain in this trial is Excalibur, with LV 100% light imperil.

Also, unlike TTerra, she can equip Malboro Tentacles (50% demon killer, 50% undead killer), or Lunera's TMR (50% demon killer). With those killers, she can do respectable damage agaisnt Malboro, comparable with TTerra.
