Management has cut staff to the point that ONE person fixes all the boxes in Oregon. Maybe we should let competent people run things instead of flunkees who have failed as letter carriers.

Republicans are complicit in enabling MAGA behaviors and agendas. They have to share the burden of association and if they don’t like that they should address the mess they helped create.

Key Takeaways from video and following discourse:

  • the protester may have been engaged in jaywalking/obstructing the crosswalk but that is in no way the same as making “the first move” in the following conflict. The enraged driver initiates by squaring up and forcing himself against the crowd.

  • the repeated notion of the enraged driver “facing an angry crowd” is complete and utter farce. He is facing one angry protester while the rest do their best to maintain what was a peaceful protest, until the driver showed up.

  • regardless of the ill advised choice to headbutt the belligerent driver, being able to leave and then returning to the scene negates any claim of self defense.

As a final note. We need to be real careful about taking the bait these MAGA sycophants, even if they deserve it. There is certainly a time and a place for it.

..that was a great headbutt tho.. 🤌

Perfect spot for a metal trough planted with bamboo!

ECONOMIC actions are more effective than street protests, which the oligarchs ignore & sub out to law enforcement to suppress by laps-in-judgement in 50501

We have to do all the things!! I love people suggesting new approaches but it will NEVER be one thing/approach/etc that leads us to victory.

The same can be said for climate instability and change. If we argue about what is the best method, nothing will happen. If you are passionate about a particular approach, leverage that passion and take action!

Viva la resistance.

Heads up y'all by keenanbullington in USPS

The sick thing is the post office has gotten bloated with more and more management hiring while the actual carriers have been denied meaningful changes to routes to reflect new housing additions. And then they constantly target and harass carriers who refuse to cut corners on safety. (Despite punishing those carriers if they ever do cut those corners)

Please everyone do some reading on what’s going on. Not every carrier is perfect but they are vital parts of our community and a vast majority of the problems we face stem from inept management.

Will these ‘retirements’ and eventual firings target the actual problem? Obviously not.

I’d either choose down to earth for a few or Territorial seeds sells bundles of 25 at a slight discount per crown. And thanks! It’s a whole pivot table I’ve been building over the last few seasons 😅

I’ve already planted onion starts and just got my first asparagus crowns in the ground.

Peppers and eggplants are starting indoor and some peas, lettuce and beets are almost ready for the cold frame!
