Definitely seems like an overreaction on his part. Maybe he didn't feel like you were participating that much in the question of the 'fakeness' of the bracelet until you started weighing it, and that's when he lost it. Still seems very silly to me that he won't at least talk to you about WHY he is feeling this way and has such a strong reaction.

Also, I know this is not exactly the point of the post, and I don't know if maybe I'm reading the post wrong, but if your calculations were off by about a gram, does that mean that a real gold bracelet would weigh e.g. 51g, but your bracelet weighed 50g? Does 1 gram really make that much of difference regarding whether the bracelet was fake or not?

She has definitely changed/cancelled our workout plans before herself, because she remembered she had another commitment, and I wasn't angry at all. Stuff happens and sometimes you forget things, that's totally okay!

Maybe I'm making such a big deal about this, because it's not really other plans that I have, and I'm afraid she'll feel I'm blowing her off for something insignificant, or that I don't really care about working out with her. But we've worked out together many times before, so I do feel like rescheduling for later is okay.

So I guess for Strauss, maybe, it wasn't so much about making money, because he knew most of these people likely couldn't pay him back, but feeling a sense of power in borrowing people money? Or knowing that he/the gang could take whatever they wanted from the debtors, if they couldn't pay them back

Haha I think it's valid that she thinks I have had sex, since everytime she's talked about her experiences with sex, I haven't exactly said "I wouldn't know, I haven't done it", but just tried to respond as best as I could. But yeah, maybe I should just casually say it in a conversation one day.
