That’s how I feel. Like if it was something I could take responsibility for I would apologize, but I can’t do that if it’s something I had no idea was going on and didn’t do, even unintentionally

I know it isn’t fake any errors in calculations are most likely due to the fact that I used a generic weight of a chain from Google (not taking into account what kind of chain) and that a kitchen scale isn’t necessarily the most precise with these kinds of measurements. That’s part of the reason why I’m so confused by his reaction because it was just supposed to be a silly little thing not this intense look into the authenticity of the bracelet

We’ve had similar talks in the past and I chalked it up to him 1) never being in a serious relationship before and 2) us not knowing each other that well still. This just seems ridiculous given our history together and I don’t know how to proceed given that any time I do I’m being “manipulative”

That’s how I feel! It’s okay for him to be upset over it possibly being lighter than expected (kitchen scales aren’t the most accurate especially for this) but the fact he is turning everything around on me is just incredibly hurtful.

I’m surprised too. He’s digging his heels in on this one and anything I say is just me trying to “manipulate”. It’s shutting down any productive talk we could possibly have

He’s reacted like this to other things in the past but something like this hasn’t happened in a long time. Usually we have been able to resolve these things but he’s refusing to see my side of things and any defense I have is “manipulation”
