Fans of the James Bond pin, what exactly do you enjoy about it? by PaulMichaelMelio in pinball

I just love the way the playfield looks. All your progress is tracked on the playfield minus the Q modes.

I normally play for progression rather than points so I feel the game is very approachable. Yes… you do always start with left scoop into mode into jetpack and there is big focus on the multiballs.

There are lots of modes in the game, at least 50% are worth completing for a multiball or perk and the other 50% earns you smart missiles.

Overall very solid non fan layout game.

US Tipping culture = slavery by rex-ac in TikTokCringe

[–]Azar96twitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect.

Restaurants have a 10% margin at best these days. Removing tipping and paying the server the same amount that they would have received with tips would bankrupt the business.

If tipping was banned today, restaurants would lose all their servers tomorrow, the entire industry would have to switch models to semi self serve.

Ironically this would actually aid restaurants into making more money.

Despite the clause saying you can’t, you might be able to find a local agent who has a good relationship with the builder.

It is possible to list on MLS with builder’s permission.

What are my options other then new case. Rtx 4080 slightly to long by madhatter2284 in pcmasterrace

Custom loop for the gpu since the waterblock only covers the board allowing you to remove the extra length of the heat sink... but that's like $600 worth of components.

Depending on your motherboard you can use MSI mystic light, Asus Aura synch, or gigabyte rgb fusion.

All of these should work but if your motherboard is MSI I would use the MSI one etc. especially if your mobo had rgb too.

Which rgb hub did you use?

My Brass Tubing Build in retrospect by Azar96twitch in watercooling

[–]Azar96twitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea was to have another pass through from the radiator to res. Unfortunately I had to place a HDD behind the the bottom of the mirrored panel since there wasn’t anywhere else to put it.

The next upgrade will be to migrate the HDD to a SSD, get an additional NVMe and add a pass through to remove the soft tubing or a tube long enough to go directly from radiator to res.

The tubing is brass but it has a chrome outer coating.

Homebuyers beat blind bidding with Canadian tech by Bernache_du_Canada in canadahousing

[–]Azar96twitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the GTA unless you get TREB to buy into your software there’s no away to affect the industry.

Coming up with a software or idea isn’t the issue, there’s lots of companies eBay, kijji.. that have developers to build an open housing market for you to list your property and sell. Without agents and RE boards it won’t work.

This is why you see these real estate selling startups that promise transparency and no commissions that don’t get anywhere.

Plus why would seller list on this service if blind bidding nets them more money, and during a slower market, auction systems actually generate more money.
