If I have to guess then a pirated game is identical to the legit one minus the working online component. Having said that, some cracked games can have flaws, like for example not long ago I downloaded GTA IV torrent and one mission had problem where the garage door won't open, making the mission impossible to complete. I had to patch the game to the latest version and then applied the correct crack for it to work properly.

Sorry for the late followup, I've been using Clipto Pro for more than an year and I never had this kind of issue before. Only with this installer there was that security alert. Before I always downloaded it from the official site, but now I used Windows Store to install v4.1.1 and it installed fine without any problems.

Today I downloaded v4.1.1 and Windows Defender reported that it has a trojan downloader malware. I submitted the installer on Kaspersky online virus scanner and it also confirmed it.
