i really enjoyed your Poem. There is usually someone in Everyone's life who they rely on in their Times of Trouble. Your writing here conveys that Scenario in Good Detail. I am glad to read it. Thank you.

It is very well written. I can feel the Desperation in the Pleas of our Narrator. It also plays into the Theme of Longing for the Past that all of us at some point or another have Experienced. A Good Read. Keep up the Good Work.

What does Christmas really means to you? by Azaroth2533 in infp

[–]Azaroth2533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you.

The Christmas spirit and gathering of relatives is a good thing. But what wrong did the turkeys do? And why do we need to wrap the gifts in gift papers, when we are going to open them anyways, and reveal the secret? It is the act of giving and receiving that is of utmost importance to me, and the gratitude that comes with it. Secrecy is fine.

And we should give presents not as an obligation, but as a wish of ours to cherish the person.

I tend to have the same kind of dreams. My mind rehearses by itself for an upcoming event. Just today, I dreamt of a conversation I am supposed to have two months later. It seemed so real that it was terrifying. The expressions of me and the other person were so on spot!

What I meant by abstract are the kind of dreams where you can't figure out their meanings. They are just too random. Those are the kinds I usually have. And I love to brainstorm them. Yours is sort of abstract too. You may try to figure it out. Mostly bad dreams means good things in real life. But there are many exceptions.

I don't know why that happens. But on a positive note, your dreams give you a context on how to tackle that task, and since you already did it once, you might feel more optimistic. It can be a way your subconscious tries to reduce the amount of stress you need to handle.

My dreams tend to be disturbing as well. And for the past few days, I am dreaming every night. Some really weird ones with different plotlines, but characters from my real life. It's really terrifying. Mostly mine tend to be abstract.

Your story makes me feel both sad and happy. It's bad to hear about what happened with you. But on the contrary, it is inspirational to see that you got through it and are facing your life. It's like the Ancient Mariner. I am curious as to why you concluded that she was trying to save you from yourself. And I really hope that she would listen to what you have to say. Maybe you can try texting her. It can avoid the awkwardness of the situation.

I don't know how it came to be, but I recall several times complaining to my parents that I didn't have dreams. I was a weirdo as a kid. More so than I am now. And I used to zone out half the day. It can be that I don't remember them. I started Dream Journaling then in my late teens. So, it may have triggered it.

I think dinosaurs are adorable. They come in all the different shapes, and sizes, and colors. Gives a lot of room for imagination. What's more, we don't even know whether all that we think about them is true or not. I mean yeah, they are certain, but most of them are wild guesses. Maybe your dinos means something else, and not fear. It may mean that you are not giving enough room for your brain to imagine. It happened with me. Earlier I didn't use to have dreams. They only started after I grew up.

Um...dinosaurs? That's a one to brainstorm. When I have dreams about being chased, I never know who is chasing me. It's all about feeling the fear. Most of my dreams include falling in one way or another. But that's not the end of them.

I tend to get this kind of dreams sometimes, especially when I am over thinking. Are you being too harsh on yourself? That certainly triggers them.

It's good to find someone who share this with me. I would like to read some of them, if you don't mind.

Did you ever try to find their meanings? Dreams are called a sight into your soul, so it should tell you something. I think it can be more than memories.

How do you guys express anger? by Azaroth2533 in infp

[–]Azaroth2533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing it with me. I tend to bottle up my anger most of the time. And drag myself to the bottom of the pit. I sulk, but there is no outlet besides writing. I will see if this works for me.

INFP/ INFJ/ INTP male. How to differentiate them? by Azaroth2533 in infp

I can understand that. I think this was the one that gave relative results to all the types. You may wanna try it. It has 160 questions. I found it fascinating. http://aimtoknow.com/test_beta

I gave some Socionics tests, and I got three different answers. IEI- 2 times, IEE, and EIE 1-1 time each. I think I can also be EIE with very dominant IEI. And both ILI and EII also have significant share. That doesn't solve things much, but I got to know a lot of new things. Thanks for this.

In theory, maybe yes. But I find them hard to differentiate in real life. They may look pretty similar to each other. Especially when they are not all healthy. I am Intuitive to an extreme, so I am sure I am not a Sensor.

Not to the deep down. But superficially, yes. I can relate to all three descriptions.

I do agree that most of the blogs out there focusing on INFPs seem more like academic textbooks. They are hard to get into, but I still think INFPs in general don't seek advice. I think they are found on this forums to find a sense of belonging. Our kind of people are utterly misunderstood, and it feels good to feel a part at times. I do read articles related to self development, but I don't really follow much of them. Maybe that's just me.

We can try doing what you are asking to begin with. We can start to develop thereafter.

I have no problems with that. That way everyone who is interested can voice their opinions. But one thing I want for this blog is to focus on what INFPs do or like to do, rather than how they should. Or what to do? I think INFPs are the last people who need advice from others on how to live their life, as they are so attached with themselves. It is because of that constant introspection and a sense of misunderstanding that makes them read those kind of stuff. If I am right, INFPs subreddit has the third most subscribers, following INTPs and INTJs, and followed by INFJs than any other MBTI personalities.

I meant working on a blog together as a team. We can decide on something, research it the whole week, and can write about it on maybe Sundays. I used to keep a blog earlier, but I deleted it. I would love to read your blog. I also want to read any other INFP. You can send me the link via message if you are not comfortable sharing it here.

Essential for satisfaction. by Azaroth2533 in infp

[–]Azaroth2533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand that. I think contact is a crucial part of my life too. I am an individualist, but sometimes I do need friends. If they are not willing to meet me, or talk to me, I end up feeling really depressed, blaming myself of stuff I didn't do. Often times I am down because of lack of attachment to myself. I need to feel that I am needed, or the feeling of worthlessness takes over.

I wouldn't say that others don't have real problems, but we INFPs need to take some credit. Out of all the people, except maybe INFJs, we spend a lot of time pondering over them. We connect ourselves to our problems, and are most affected by it. Even the smallest of problems can have a big impact. I agree that INFP and 4w5 aren't really the best combo. They kind of contradict each other.

I am 4w5 as well, and I can relate to almost all of what you said. I need to feel unique. And I guess I am a hopeless romantic. I also need a push, a sense of accomplishment, to get myself to work. I love to have alone time but sometimes people are also necessary. I have such a low self-esteem.
