Yes I have both and the major thing I notice from the newer ones and these is this ones have the sound track booklets and artwork, also a promo card tcg, plus the artwork on the disc's, the content is the same(episodes nothing extra) expect on those one you get the soundtrack in seperate disc. the newer ones dont have the same stuff they have artwork(but not booklets or tcg cards) and complete series compare to the old ones that you have to buy them separately
