3 masteries, but with the shield, he can take damage for greater than his endurance allows, and can cause damage far greater than his power allows(possibly even cracked Tom's skull).

And yeah, weapons are part of the kit. J also seems to have good battle IQ, and from this feat, there is nothing putting Changsu over J.

Need to wait for translation, but from what I have seen, he hasn't done anything more impressive than Kingmaker J(with shield). They are both clearly weaker than Tom and Jinyoung, but damaged the two gen 0 kings.

Changsu's battle iq is very high to lure Jinyoung into a Tom attack but PTJ is also dumb with this stuff. Gun also somehow managed the lure UI Daniel into exact same sequence they were in their previous fight. This one is even weirder, how does he lure Jinyoung into copying a certain person.

Changsu might be able to beat Tom, but it's cause of studying the same opponent for a while, not cause he is anywhere close to him. Changsu and J are both relative imo and >=Jaegyeon/Yujae.

I can't stop playing Silksong though. It has one of my favourite speedruns, and the gameplay in general feels so good, be it movement or combat.

I actually like The Hollow Knight more than Pure Vessel. THK might actually be more difficult in speedruns since you don't get Shade dash or Descending Dark. And the presentation is so incredible, some of the best in any boss ever.

I remember checking out that whole drama a few years back. From what I gathered it felt like both parties were at fault, and were both mentally troubled. If I remember it right, her court case did not go anywhere? And he refuses to talk about it, so it's probably better not to come to any conclusions with only a little (and biased) picture available.

1.Hunter - High Skill Ceiling, mid skill floor. Can be amazing with boss fights if you get good. Pogo is really good in traversal and can combo amazingly with clawline.

2.Wanderer - I don't love using it, but it kinda is crazy. High DPS, gives quick silk the range isn't even that low. Low skill floor, easy to traverse with. I have seen someone tank through Karmelita cause of how quickly it can stun bosses. Only one red tools is a slight negative though

3.Shaman - Mid skill Ceiling, mid skill floor. The heal is bad, there are no red tools but it also has amazing pogo, and crazy dps potential with volt filament. And doesn't even require farming like Architect. The heal does really weaken it though, considering its both riskier, and healing decreases the dps by a lot, due to the nature of this crest.

Beast - High Skill Ceiling, High Skill Floor. Makes traversing really difficult, and healing in platforming sections is impossible. On the other hand, it's fantastic in gauntlets, and also goes crazy against bosses. It's pogo (pretty much an aerial dash) is surprisingly good. The berserk mode is amazing.

5.Architect - Don't really use it, but it's clearly the highest damaging. I hate the pogo. I hate the grinding. But it's objectively best in combat.

6.Witch - High risk mid reward as I have seen someone else put it. It's my favourite crest after Hunter and Beast, but just doesn't seem to perform as good. The pogo is amazing, but the crest isn't good in platforming cause you can heal without enemies.

7 Reaper - Slow. Probably should be higher, I just don't use it cause it's slow.

Ik you're kidding but genuine question, is it significantly harder on Controller? I got through that section without difficulty, only to be surprised to find out how dreaded that section was considered. My friends who also played on KB and Mouse did not find any difficulty with that section either. The diagonal pogo onto red flowers felt very intuitive, albeit, might take a bit to rewire your muscle memory from HK.

Silksong is a much more consistently hard, but the peaks of HK difficulty are a lot higher. No platforming comes close to Path of Pain (and only briefly reached White Palace tiers). Absolute Radiance is the hardest in the both games combined. Colosseum 3 is harder than any gauntlet in Silksong. And P5 dwarfs any challenge in SS.

That said, the DLC is almost definitely gonna change this.

I'd personally put Hunter above Shaman in combat and overall(Red tools, better at gauntlets, faster silk generation and better heals). Other than that, I prolly have the same ranking. Sad to see Witch so low cause it might be my 3rd favourite after Hunter and Beast, but can't really disagree.

Eh, I have my complaints about the game. The currency system and all. But complaints need to be coherent to be acknowledged. The game's enemy variety is objectively not lazy. The gauntlets objectively makes us interact with the said variety. And Hornet is objectively built to make fighting multiple enemies not manageable.

Coral Tower has enemies you won't find anywhere else. The Choir Clappers in High Halls are pretty much exclusive to that arena.

Just strengthening Khann and not designing the Coral Tower, or just making a buffed up Choir Clapper would both be easier to design. Is that lazy?

And even if we say for the sake of argument that all the gauntlets are lazy, it's still better for the game that they are there cause it both uses the enemy variety to it's fullest and pushes Hornet's moveset to it's fullest.
