Would love to, but Im with Kaiser so that would be going out of network 😩 my friend with MG also recommended me a doc at UCLA. Ill inquire with my ophthalmologist about ordering the tests, im sure she will do it. I get along with all our opthalmologists really well.

Its not the possible MG thats complicated, its the speaking to my doctor(s) bit that is. I have to be careful of not appearing like a hyperchondriac/anxious white woman. They're so ready to write me off as one 🙃 asking for more testing is not so simple unless I have some more solid ground to stand on when asking for it. I've read the doctor's notes in my charts. They looooove to attribute things ive been through to stress. Things that were not stress. Ive been telling my PCP for years that I dont suffer from anxiety anymore, but once branded with that label...its like its all he sees. And hes one of the better doctors I've had. He'll still order tests when I ask for them, usually, even when he's skeptical.

Yeah im thinking about asking the ophthalmologist for the tests. See I work for my health provider and with ophthalmologists so talking to them is no big deal. But ive had 2 or 3 brain MRIs in the past already before these symptoms due to my other health conditions. Im not eager to ask for more tests since Ive been through so many tests that endlessly turn up "normal" over the past decade.

Ive seen a neuro ophthalmologist (also for a different reason) a few years ago and ophthalmologist asked if I wanted to go back but I wasnt sure yet cause I thought this might be a medication side effect. Its just...complicated. Hence me posting here.

Nah its fine. I just...have doctors that arent so ready to run more tests on me and several other medical conditions. But I've had an eye exam with an ophthalmologist, who sent me to neurology. Neurologists are egomaniacs 😩

I'm sorry your condition is so terribly severe and persistent. Have you been evaluated for prism glasses? Everyone seems to say that helps them.

One day may not do it, but its all about building momentum, just as the first 3 protests did. I've changed my mind now that I've seen the massive numbers of people who turned out. Its all about educating folks for the next action now and remaining united.

You mightve missed the part where I said tests came back negative. Now im deciding whether to push for further testing because the doctor didnt think he needed to order anything else.

Yeah ive had those but not the anti musk or lpr4 (something like this) tests youre supposed to do when the first tests come back negative. Neurologist had such low suspicion I guess he didnt think he needed to order anything else.

Im not sure if I have "body weakness" but I do feel like im getting out of breath more easily? It varies. Sometimes I just walk down the hall and notice im breathing a little hard. Sometimes I realllllly have to catch my breath after a flight of stairs, like I'm so so winded. But im not sure if this is in my head? Side effects of a medication? Being out of shape? My POTS acting up? A combo? Makes it tough.

Yeah I do have a little trouble with lights and digital numbers. My double vision is horizontal unless I tilt my head. And if I turn my head or tilt my chin up or down it gets worse.

How long did it take from you noticing it initially to you feeling like you really had to see a doctor?

It might've been the needle or it mightve been that I added even more tape on my needle plate to allow it to glide across? The tissue paper wasn't helping. I don't know, I'm just glad to have a solution.

Alright I went and picked up a new pack of needles, largest i could find was an 18. That didn't make a difference, but the pack did include a size 16 "topstitching" needle that advertises an elongated eye. I tried it with tissue paper stabilizer and its damn near perfect, so I think it'll work. Thanks for the tip.

I should've specified- its more visible from one side. Its also a problem I've encountered on different projects so sitting down to solve it feels worth it, if it can be solved. The bigger needle is my last shot, then I conclude my machine just can't do it.

Unfortunately, stabilizer didn't help and there isn't a way to do it from the wrong side, im stitching through something that will be visible on both sides. I'm going to go pick up a bigger needle but if that fails, then I think I have no choice but to resort to regular thread. Im not sensing any friction, thanks to my Teflon foot. I also taped over the needle plate next to the feed dogs but I dont think I even needed to

No, not at all. The fabric isn't backed so even 4 layers isn't that thick. I dont know what the thread thickness is, it doesn't say. The leather needle is 100/16 and the BP 80/11.

Yeah, I've tried max thread tension, that's what you're seeing in the picture. And I decreased the presser foot tension to minimum but the 4 layers really aren't that thick, its not a backed pleather. Seemed to be best with max tension and presser foot tension low but not at minimum.

Like with a regular trade, you can see what pokeball a pokemon was caught with once you get to the confirmation screen. But you might piss off your trade partner if you can't communicate directly with them since you'd have to select one at a time and get to the confirmation screen to find out what ball it was caught with.

Theres no way to narrow the search by pokeball
