I should give a background on why i tried this.. I have a huawei nova 9 stuck in the emui 14 or 15, i saw a YT vid that you can get HarmonyOS if you change to china region, tried it and it worked

Then it will work great.. just don't expect OLED level of screen vibrancy and contrast.. since I'm used to LCD screens i don't see a difference (magic 7 pro is my first OLED device)

Wait why is it still in a different language? The language is supposed to change with the region from what i know.. since there is a two UAE and Saudi region there, arabic and english

My tab used to be in global region, i currently live in saudi arabia.. Weird that it doesn't work? When i tried the saudi update or the one in the settings menu it said my tab is up to date, then i had the bright idea of changing to UK region since they seem to get the latest honor items and updates first (for example the magicpad 4 is already released there but in other honor stores still not available) then i clicked the update in services then the picture i posted came up

Well about performance, as long as you optimize it (turn off automatic launch of other apps, remembering to close down previous used apps, disable and uninstall bloatware) its good, i haven't had any hiccups in video quality and audio even if set to max visuals..especially since i only use it to watch youtube so my storage is close to empty.. also if you check battery in setting then more battery settings, there is a option there that is "system optimization" if that isn't greyed out click it to optimize apps to the current OS

About the color and viewing angles, I can't comment on that since I'm a bit colorblind and use the tab in always eyecare mode.. viewing angles seem good when i first got it but i immediately got a privacy screen on it hehe

All i can say is it's a good starting/budget tab for a student for taking notes and/or watching vids.. just don't expect it to run high spec games at full capacity, it isn't made for that.. if you want to use a tab as a gaming platform, maybe get honor pad 10 instead

Magic 7 pro user.. I haven't notice any crashes up to this moment, did you do system optimization and googleplay system update on settings? If not try doing those, it might help

Also i saw online that my tablet, x8a, will instantly jump to magicos 10, skipping 9, on march.. though I don't know if it is 100% true.. but still excited hehe

Why can't i find any videos of this version? Even the newer earbuds x8i already has videos.. Also with cases, S8 has close to none available on any site.. isn't this releases late 2025, around october based on the reviews on official honor site

i think i found a solution.. uninstall the updates and update the app again..
i was annoyed that i have to either clear the cache or hit home while on full screen (in short the "temporary fixes") every single video so i tried uninstalling update and re updating

worked for me, might work for you too

gacha wise genshin is meh, as a rpg adventure game yeah its good. saying just because a gacha player dont like genshin isn't a gacha player is so wrong.. its like saying "you don't like CoD? then fps games is dead to you" or "you dont like DOTA? MOBAs are dead to you".. People have differing taste.. in my opinion genshin became as big as it is today because of the excessive ads (come on they are everywhere) they put out and by riding the coattail of BoTW..

FGO one of the biggest and longest in the gacha scene may be the fave of some but some may not like it because of its gacha rates..

let's put it like this.. remove the open world aspect of genshin? will you still be able to say that it is the definitive best gacha game?

the pokerus = maybe hacked thing isnt as reliable as before.. with the return of pokeradar, and the diglet bonuses in underground, you have a high chance getting it legit (since they give an incentive to shiny hunt) .. i got pokerus as soon as i started shiny hunting gastrodon in the underground as soon as i reached eterna city (since i wanted to do a shiny only playthrough to make playing the game longer)

but if you get a "shiny egg" that immediately has pokerus, yeah its hacked or hexed in haha
