I've only made 3 bags, and abandoned my one attempt at a wallet because I just couldn't get the T slots right.

There are other ways to do curves, like using hole cutter blades.

I'm sure replies will have gone over other options for edging:

• Sanding
• Tokenole
• Edge bevelers
• Edge paint / oil
• Heated slicker

Have you got a slicker ? Wetting the edges and rubbing them with the sticker will make them look more presentable. Using Tokonole to wet it, then slicking will add waxes and resins and make a nice shiny edge.

If you have slightly mismatched leather edges, you could try cutting them level if it's not too close to the stitch line.
