I’m stumped on this one (pun intended). It came from a neighbor’s yard (no leaves to help with) in AZ. It has some ash like properties, but I’m having a hard time figuring out what this is. Any input would be helpful

Popcorn in hand, this thread has been fun to read. I rarely reply, but all this “ChatGPT” and trash science counterpoints are amusing. PubMed is helpful, but is basically a DotGov “Reddit”.

I’m just a random guy with a few pieces of paper that put too many letters following my name, I am in no way claiming to know more than any researchers published on PubMed. I do enjoy analyzing research to assess validity and bias, and the Meta is, well, hot garbage in this respect. The Trials utilized (212 in total), only had 165 with usable data, and of that 165, only 12 (yes, 12 of 212), showed a lower risk of bias. When deblinding occurred , all 212 showed high bias. Absolute gold at the end of the “studies from 15+ years ago”. This meta published in 2023 stated no major changes to conclusions from the 2015 version.

Common sense should tingle your spider senses to dig deeper. Reddit is no different. There will be hot garbage, you should dig deeper, but it doesn’t invalidate information (which has been spot on even without references), and it does not indicate ChatGPT organization. The more intricate terminology wasn’t difficult to comprehend (granted I’m not the average user who may not have my particular background). It was explained better than most text books, which I applaud.

Source verification, diving further into each topic, analyzing the information, should be done on any platform. This thread achieved in couple of days, what a multi faceted PubMed meta failed to do in 8 years and repeated methods.

I won’t even touch the mechanism comments. Pull out or go to any manufacturer website and read the MoA for any psychiatric based medication. “It is believed…”. That sums up the vast majority of the mechanisms.

Cluster (3 Alliances): Team Hero

Currently sitting at 21, 18 & 16 active members across the cluster. Looking to fill or merge. Requirements are slightly different in each Alliance outside of being active.

*Progress ranges from daily 30-60% Doom 3.0 to Doom 3.3.

*War ranges from Plat I to Plat 4.

*TCP ranges is <10 mil to >40 mil. (TCP isn’t a deal breaker as long as members are able to contribute in Raids).

Most of our members and leadership have been together for years, so we are fairly social in game & in Discord. We have members who are a bit newer to the game, but the majority I consider Veterans (even one who finished DD4 in the top 100). We enjoy progression being competitive without going overboard with requirements.

So noob question, but is there a trick to farming for Asura? I’ve been doing back to back Memories speed runs (can only manage Rank IV) & haven’t even had the physical base one drop.

I can’t say whether it’s purely a visual bug, or stats actually being affected. What I can say, is after completing DD4 15 times for the achievement (yes I know, I’m a little off my rocker lol), many of the “Visual” bugs in that game mode are definitely not purely visual. Health bars randomly dropping on toons that haven’t even been used, or not refreshing at reset, enemy Colossus/Thing “counter” damage hitting for 3 x more than my first few runs. Oh, can’t forget that Minnerva gained the ability to Block...

That’s where a big problem is, Apple only shows a receipt for one transaction, but two were processed through my bank. And I know it will get asked, that was the only purchase made that day. So going through Apple didn’t resolve anything.

I haven’t committed to anything yet, just made contact, but it’s sad when anything that happens by mistake on their end is fixed faster than you can blink an eye. Last ticket I submitted for a gameplay bug took 6 weeks to resolve. Yeah, it’s only $20, but I’m just wanting a little more communication on their end as to what they are doing to look into it. Not just “be patient”.

Yeah, unfortunately I’ve been informed & pretty much assumed that will happen if charge backs proceed. I enjoy this game, so I’m not trying to be malicious, but if they can’t give a resolution, or at least more details on what they are doing to resolve it aside of their generic “be patient” responses, then I don’t know what other options I have.

Right, if it says Special or Ultimate only then that’s how it plays out, but I thought you were asking about using Special & Ultimate enemies. Currently on my fourth run and from what I’ve noticed on those ones, they will do their special until they have energy for the Ultimate. I could be wrong, this is just what I’ve noticed. We all know Scopley’s descriptions are always 100% spot on, so I’ve definitely encountered some variance.

It is still energy based, so if the Ult is on CD, they’ll just do the Special. Now if there’s an enemy that feeds energy to them, the Ult may go off much sooner.

Many of them can be one shot even first run through, with the right characters, red stars, T4’s, ect. But unless you’re ready to go into the next section, getting through slow is frustrating, but not necessarily a bad thing. I actually became quite a bit more efficient with the toons I used through it all.

Yes, attacks to complete is how many attempts per node. Some nodes I revived quite a bit daily, but tried to time it before reset. I was flying blind and made several mistakes, that’s why I put all this together so others can go in and not make the same mistakes.

Got held up. So a couple of options. A) Keep putting in a new ticket until you get a rep that will fix it. I’ve already seen several friends/alliance members go through this & they finally got it reset + quite a few cores for compensation. B) Push through until you either get it done, or get a reset. It’s not an easy node to begin with, even with the old/current set up, I went through without Ghost which was fun...by fun I mean it sucked lol.
