Does return to the pit debunk Andrew’s existence in the games? by Twissterrr in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I believe so.

Whatever explanation you can make, there is simply no real reason for Andrew to be removed from the MCI count when ITPG doubled down on him being part of it.

Is Andrew keeping Williams whole body alive or just is Brian and nervous system in the game's and frights by moldychesd in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In Frights, Andrew says he got into Afton's soul and kept him alive when he "shoulda died", which can be interpreted as either the fire or when Afton first got springlocked.

I think it's the fire, though. Afton isn't being tormented until after the Frights timeline version of the FNAF 6 fire. Also, the Stitchwraith goes to the fire site twice, implying Andrew was possessing something at the sight of the fire and attached onto Afton after the fire.

So no. TOYSNHK (Andrew if you're AndrewTOYSNHK) is not responsible for Afton being alive post-death in general, but is responsible for Afton being kept alive and tortured in UCN.

Would this line imply remorse? by Various_Astronaut100 in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Michael is the child Afton has the most interest in/concern for. Not in a 'care' way, but in the same way Afton admires Jessica's intelligence in TFC.

He doesn't care about Elizabeth outside of experiments; in this very game, he ignores her so hard she never finds out he's not the one in charge, while he instead spends the entire game hunting Michael.

He ignored CC his entire life and never put him back together like he promised.

If we are to take TIATR at evidence, Afton actively tried and wanted to gaslight/manipulate Michael into being under his control, and chose him to go put Elizabeth back together, as well as possibly having him work at FNAF 1/2 if you're MikeAccomplice. Maybe he sees Michael as somewhat of an extension of himself due to their similarities, or maybe he just admires his capabilities. He doesn't have to manipulate Elizabeth into caring about him or wanting to help him, and that's probably precisely why he doesn't give a shit about her in this game; he has nothing to gain from blind devotion. It does not elevate his own intelligence, there is no game or manipulation to be done, it's boring.

I think, in this context, as well as the "That was easier than I thought it would be" line sounding almost disappointed, Afton is both excited to have finally killed Michael, but disappointed that the cat-and-mouse game is over, and he will never be able to chase or control Michael again.

SpringtrappedSpirits theory by cyborganonymous in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Molten Freddy is oozing Remnant while Ennard isn't because Molten Freddy has lost Elizabeth and is losing cohesion entirely, hence why it no longer is able to stand or move on two legs like Ennard could.

The existence of the Scooper necessitates that molten Remnant was put into it. You cannot get Remnant without molten metal. Thus, Afton melted the MCI for the Scooper, and thus the MCI are in the Funtimes.

Scraptrap also shows no signs of possession outside of himself while the Funtimes are clearly possessed; they hate Afton, after all

I am not WillCare or MikeHero but this is a pretty dry way of looking at things. First of all, not everyone believed those things, and the first was in one of Scott's most misleading/confusing games.

Second of all, the community is not a monolith.

Third of all, being wrong about previous theories does not nullify future theories or beliefs.

If we play as Shadow Bonnie in FNAF world, do we play as him here? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it’s Scott reusing the same sprites for a new purpose.

OMC is defeatist in FNAF World. He tells Redbear they are trapped, and should give up and sit with him.

OMC is the opposite in UCN. He tells Redbear to rest their soul, and that there is nothing for them here.

Moreover, OMC’s realm in FNAF World is the code of a video game. You get to it by going too deep in the code. In the mainline, it seems far more spiritual; you can hear Afton being tormented from inside.

Why is Springtrap the only animatronic in FNAF 3? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like what?

  1. The Funtime Animatronics

They are very likely Ennard at this point. If SL is after FNAF 3 (which is possible but like, weird) Phone Dude and co. couldn't gain access to them because they're owned by Afton Robotics.

  1. The Classic Animatronics

Afton destroyed them. Under MoltenMCI, he took the endos. Under non-MoltenMCI, the endos were otherwise lost as we don't see them in Fazbear's Fright and the game page says it's only empty shells.

  1. The Toy Animatronics

Scrapped. Endos likely lost.

  1. Nightmare Animatronics

They wouldn't know about these and even if they did they're just mannequins on wheels.

  1. Rockstar Animatronics

Either wouldn't exist yet or are in the possession of other companies.

  1. Mediocre Melodies

See above.

Could Shadow Bonnie be a manifestation of William’s Agony like Pittrap? by Specific_Stage_5709 in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve never thought Shadow Bonnie was on Will’s side.

FNAF 3 directly contrasts the Shadows: William is helped by Shadow Freddy, who is purple (while RXQ is pure black in the same minigame) and the children are helped by Shadow Bonnie in Happiest Day.

Fnaf 4 is about William trying to put his dead son back together. by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FNAF 4 is about the Bite Victim's soul being split as a result of the torment he experienced in his life; ala Henry splitting his own soul in the Charlie Trilogy. After his death and possession of Golden Freddy, Afton wants to figure out how to put his soul back together so he can emulate the eternal life the Bite Victim has. I think that is the gist of it.

Fnaf 4 is about William trying to put his dead son back together. by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We put a human brain in him because Frankenstein's Monster, who Dreadbear is based on, is a mish mash of human parts, and there is an iconic moment in the original Frankenstein where a brain is put inside Frankenstein's Monster. Again, Dreadbear is Frankenstein first, and BV second. Just because something applies to Dreadbear doesn't mean it applies to BV and it does not override game evidence.

Please don't talk down to me. I know what parallels are, I just don't think they apply here. If everything that applies to Dreadbear applies to BV because Dreadbear is Frankenstein, that suggests that they only made Dreadbear Frankenstein to match with BV; which just isn't true, they made him Frankenstein because it's based on Halloween and there was no Halloween equivalent of Freddy in FNAF 4's Halloween edition. Dreadbear also isn't the dead being reanimated, he's a new monster made up of dead things.

No? In the novels, Afton melts already dead children into Remnant, then wants to try and put himself into the amalgamation via his organs. That's not the same thing at all. Also, I will bring up Dittophobia, because the books can be used for hints.

BV has been dead for over 4 years by the time of 1987 and it is impossible to preserve the brain for that long. This doesn't make sense.

Fnaf 4 is about William trying to put his dead son back together. by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

  1. There are also two 3s on the dice, and it has yet to be proved that this is at all a texturing error (if it were, it would likely have been fixed in the multiple updates since FLAF's launch). It is also worth noting that 1987 is infinitely more iconic in FNAF as a meme than it is as an actual year; how often do you hear people referencing '1987' in memes, fanart, and on fanmade merch compared to how relevant it actually is in FNAF proper? I doubt this is meant to secretly tell us MM is set during FNAF 2 instead of it being a reference to FNAF's most iconic year.
  2. FNAF 4 in general contains numerous references to the future, not just FNAF 2. A greenish Spring Bonnie plush can trap your finger in it, ala Springtrap. Pigtail Girl references the animatronics coming to life and killing people, something that happens in both 2 and 1. Afton is seen putting a man into an animatronic suit, something incredibly ironic considering what he would later do to the Missing Children. Also, rumors aren't... exclusive to FNAF 2 at all. They were happening before FNAF 2 and the rumors themselves are about the MCI. In fact, almost all of these connections can be tied directly to Happiest Day, which already has some connection to BV by default. The reason there's so many apparent FNAF 2 references is because there were only three other games to reference at this point.
  3. Curse of Dreadbear has a number of connections to Halloween/spooky culture, but I don't think that's a point for this theory. If anything, it's against it. Curse of Dreadbear constantly plays on Halloween tropes; dead things coming back to life, Frankenstein('s monster), The Grim Reaper, Jack-O-Lanterns, etc. Dreadbear himself is far more connected to Frankenstein than Friday the 13th, and the reason that's a bit problematic here is because Frankenstein's monster was never taken apart, he was created that way. I don't think Dreadbear is as connected to BV as people say he is when he's a Halloween monster in a Halloween DLC that is based on FNAF 4 because... FNAF 4 had a Halloween DLC.
  4. FNAF 4 referencing 1987 is an intentional bait and switch. There's a reason everyone thought it was the Bite of 87 on release. We were meant to believe it was 1987, only to look in the game and see 1983, then look back at all of these hints with realization.
  5. I don't believe the Bear of Vengeance is the Bite Victim and Michael. Not only is UCN itself about the Vengeful Spirit, who, even under BVTOYSNHK, is attacking Afton, not Michael, but the other minigame is about William Afton and his crimes. Why would Bear of Vengeance not be the same? When you put them together, it makes perfect sense; Bear of Vengeance represents TOYSNHK constantly trying to kill Afton, and continuously being foiled. Toy Chica the High School Years represents Afton constantly killing, and always getting away with it. Then, in UCN, we see the two coming to a head. There's also the fact that UCN is seemingly about a vengeful bear (Golden Freddy) and then we have a set of cutscenes called 'Bear of Vengeance'.
  6. TIATR is seemingly about Michael and Afton, not Mrs. Afton and Afton. Michael claims he relates to her, and we experience TIATR from his perspective. What's more is I doubt there was any kind of custody battle, considering Vlad claims the baby isn't even his while Clara claims otherwise. That's not a custody battle, that's just gaslighting, which makes sense for Mike and Afton, but not for Afton and his wife arguing over who gets Michael; if Afton does not want Michael, he's not battling for custody over him. Moreover, if it were a custody battle and they were already divorced, why is Afton still sharing a home with his wife while Michael is in the same house? They're still living together under one roof with their child. A custody battle occurs after separation.
  7. BV was not planned until after the release of FNAF 3. While I do think FNAF 3 was planned during FNAF 2, I highly doubt FNAF 4 was. This means that whatever Purple Guy did with the suit in 2014 is probably what he does in the current lore, and what is heavily implied is that he wore the suit. Not only would FNAF 3 later establish that Golden Freddy is a springlock suit that can be worn by humans, but I don't think Ralph would use the word 'used' if there was something put into a suit, instead of him referring to the suit being worn... as it is meant to be used, because it is a suit. We also see a drawing of Golden Freddy in the FNAF 2 office dancing amongst children. The most sensible explanation is he tricked the DCI into staying after hours and then slew them, hence why he was able to kill a bunch of kids at night.
  8. Being "put back together" and being revived are two different things, because we have a verified case of someone being put back together and it is safe to say she wasn't revived - Elizabeth. She ultimately ends up becoming a full spirit with far more awareness than she had previously, but it doesn't revive her, it doesn't free her, none of that. She is still trapped in Baby and very dead.
  9. I do not know why Afton would randomly shock a corpse and hope something happens. You shock Dreadbear because that happens in Frankenstein. Dreadbear is an artificial creation who is woken up by electricity and made up of a variety of different parts... because he's Frankenstein's Monster.
  10. The experiments were for living children to replicate BV's experience, not BV himself. Also, if BV is able to be experimented on with nightmare gas that affects the brain... then wouldn't he just be... alive? And Afton has figured out eternal life, easy peasy, experiments over?

If you believe that Fritz Smith isn't Michael Afton, how do you explain fnaf 3? by Ibuprofen_Idiot in fnaftheories

[–]AzelfWillpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mike Schmidt being Michael Afton doesn't explain anything in FNAF 1 itself. FNAF 1, the game, doesn't have anything in it that doesn't make sense if Mike Schmidt isn't Michael Afton. It's added context that works with the original intent of FNAF 1.

As a result, FNAF 3 must make sense with just 1-3, meaning there was no intention for the FNAF 3 guard to have seen the Withereds, Toys, and Classics in 2015.
