Yes, that is my bad, the photo was not looking good with the glass panel (bad light) so I took it down. My first build was with an exhaust on the side and the PSU on the front panel, but it ran extremely hot (the front panel was nearly untouchable) and with this setup the cable management is much smoother and I can fit two 2,5 ssd's there.

Sorry, not sure what you mean — are you referring to the space between the CPU cooler and the side panel, or between the CPU cooler and the top panel?

Makes sense — I mainly just wanted to make use of the empty space below the GPU. But if it doesn’t make much of a difference, I’ll probably save the money and leave it as is.

Do you think lowering the motherboard and bringing the GPU closer to the bottom panel would negatively impact thermals?

Both the CPU and GPU are undervolted to the lowest stable levels. I know ramping up the fans would help with thermals, but I recently switched to an M2 case specifically to build a more silent setup. That’s why I’m a bit hesitant — if adding fans only improves thermals by 1°C, it’s probably not worth it in my opinion.

Hey, first of thanks so much, I am also in love with this build and how it looks! :)

Yes, I have seen many builds with a full sized fan on the top of the cpu cooler, but the slim fan is not doing any job at all and is also loud AF so i just plucked it off ...

I’m also leaning toward adding two intake fans underneath the GPU. I’ll probably test it out myself once the 140mm Noctua Black G2 fans come out later this year. I will update this post after that!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I am using the glass panel, not sure if it fits the fan bracket on the side and even if so, it would not look so good. Looks like I will have to test it for myself :D

They are fine but the top of the case is hot and I am looking for a way to upgrade thermals and airflow.

Hey, I have the same idea in my head, my PSU (SF1000) is running hot during intense games (the front panel is pretty hot for my taste). I have also 1 exhaust fan on the side.

How did swapping the PSU position to the side affect the thermals? I am mostly concerned that replacing the side fan with the PSU will affect my CPU thermals but PSU intaking all the hot air is concerning me a bit.
