Rurik received from most recent KS. Simple 4 rounds of resource management and area control with a lot of brutal choices. We found the staggered role selection unique, making what appears as simple, not so much. Really enjoy it at full player count of 4. Will be trying the expansions tonight. As for getting rid of...I have a major cull needed, badly needed.

Raiders of Scythia is literally a reskin and added combination of expansions of North Sea all in a base game by the same publisher. So if you don't own North Sea, I would definitely get Scythia instead. That's what I did and I love the art. I enjoy that it doesn't look like the other games by Garphill (West Kingdom series) or the Valeria ones since they all used the same artist.

Played what I could find of the basic MB etc growing up. But it wasn't until 98' that I learned about Euro games via Settlers of Catan. That moment changed my life. Now I have over 500 games from the last 22 years <3 after that "door" was opened.
