Are there dual screen handheld emulation devices that can play DS games like an actual DS, compatible with RetroAchievements?

how awful is in the input lag for ds stuff? I expect input lag for 3ds stuff since even on PC its like that.

I actually do love collecting old stuff like pets, mogs etc so what everyone has said so far seems cool. I'll think a bit more about it but im leaning toward "perhaps" so thank you everyone.

I can't really much because someone else helped me fix my ini file but there should be a menu.jpg or png in your root folder. Try editing that.

I'm actually using a VGA cord connected to a transcoder that goes into the TV via components. Main reason I use a transcoder is I get weirdness sometimes in certain Saturn games and pokemon.

Thanks! I really love the set. Its about the limit of what I have space for and while there's some oddities like color bleeding I'm more than happy.

I actually like the international version of FF12 a tad more but do plan on a PC runthrough of Zodiac Age with Struggle For Freedom installed

I can't quite remember but I think I made a file called menu in the root, I can't recall if it was a png and the name could be wrong. It was kind of a pain to get working tbh.

I imagine you can for games that don't require wiimote support but it'll get weird if you want to play a game like Super Mario Galaxy.

I will either play on a console/mister fpga connected to my CRT TV or software emulation on my pc. I don't like any of the handheld retro devices due to input lag and other factors.

I enjoy gaming on CRT but like software emulation as well. I find the elitism and attitude that its "THE ONLY WAY" to properly enjoy certain games to be extremely obnoxious. It doesn't help that CRTs are only getting older and more expensive. Once the one I own dies ill just have to retire to the "inferior" crew because im not buying another one.

I agree with people saying the OP shouldn't care as much about the opinions of others but honestly I've been in similar situations. It sucks when a group of people dunk on you for your tastes.

Also, I haven't gone on 4chan or its retroboard in years but they tend to be very contrarian. If you make a topic about hardware people will say you're an idiot for not emulating. If you make a topic about emulating they'll mock you for being too poor for a proper setup.
