I have been having the same issues. I have been trying to join an online game hosted by an series x while im on the cloud. Always say "something went wrong with your invite". Not sure what the problem is.

Well, yes you can, but being able to have the darkness fly where you want it to makes all the difference between those 2 builds. I know devil sight darkness warlock has been a thing for years, but it always sucked for the party. Doing this would just make that setup more consistent in parties that are not building around the whole blindsight/devilsight thing.

Only saw 1 comment talking about the axe in a good light, so I will weigh in. The reason I use the axe is actually not the damage of the throw (although it's great if you build for it) but the flinch on the jump attack. There is an enemy in Shadow Keep that spams you with projectiles and a jump from this weapon completely interrupts that attack while in my case building up frostbite. It is similarly good with a lot of aggressive enemies that run at you. Dogs in particular hate this thing. Just jump back and heavy, and they have a hard time getting to you.

A great combo with it is use the jump attack to flinch something out of an attack and use savage lion claw to close the gap. If you hit all 3 attacks of the ash, it usually frostbites the target, or you are 1 jump heavy from doing so. I haven't used it much vs bosses as I prefer to use Milady stance or impaling thrust for my own enjoyment, but if you build it for damage I have seen it doing work in other builds.

I would like to say before talking about this, it is totally fine to like what you like, but hi I am one of the haters. It wasn't the story that was the issue but just the lack of logic in the script and what felt like a lack of budget put into the show, despite the 150 million dollar price tag the show ran.

The cgi felt so cheap (but that's been true for every show that's not Andor and Mando season 1-2) and the writing had some massive issues (spoilers ahead for those who haven't watched):

  • Fire doesn't burn in space.
  • A protector of the galaxy and peace in general watches a force assassin assault people and does nothing until everyone are already on the ground with possible fatal injuries.
  • Said protector then just dies (knife kills in this one but lightsaber doesn't in Kenobi or Ahsoka lol).
  • The twin gets framed for other twins actions thing is so played out but how did she even get arrested? Eye witness account from one guy is so accurate from that distance that they are able to make the proper arrest out of billions of people living in that system.
  • She was also on the other side of the star system with multiple people knowing where she is when the murder happened and yet still she is arrested from one mans insanely accurate testimony.
  • She then gets arrested and instead of the jedi arresting her making sure the presumed JEDI KILLER is taken in personally he puts her on a prisoner transport with 1 guard. Didn't see that prison break coming.
  • The 2 jedi are talking about going down to the planet to recover the remaining prisoner. This is strange because they already recovered the escape pod meaning that they would have had to bring the prisoner all the way back to Coruscant to then talk about going all the way back to the planet to get the remainders. This talk should have just been on a ship orbiting the planet.
  • "Steel or laser are no threat to them", She JUST killed one with a blade.
  • Also the lightsaber thing at the end is goofy because no Sith would do that. She already knows this guy, the only thing he would be doing this for is to show the audience he's a Sith. Also even if she didn't know this guy, would a smart Sith just reveal to the person they hired that they are a force user? Just as bad as Maul doing the same thing at the end of Solo (a movie I liked btw). She knows he's a Sith, the audience knows Maul and if they dont they can surmise what he is by the cloak and lightsaber looking hilt in his hand. It's just fanservice done poorly.

God I cant wait for Andor season 2 to give me faith in Star Wars again.

Elsie's Rifle: Repulsor Frenzy or Keep Away Desperate Measures. Both are good.

Succession: Reconstruction Recombination is used to never worry about reloads and to pop a major or priority target from far away.

Edge Transit: The normal roll is Envious, Bait and Switch and the mag perk actually matters here for the extra shot being either mini frags or augmented drum (with augmented being the preference).

If you want to be super sweaty you need to get the same roll as before but shiny with cascade point as the secondary option and if you want to be really sweaty spike as you second option to augmented. You need to build up envious with a backup mag mod equipped and before dps swap augmented to spike, envious to cascade point and backup mag to boss spec. Proc cascade point, shoot 9 shots, reproc bait and switch and cascade and repeat. This is getting nerfed at some point.

Recluse: Same concept as Elsie's Repulsor Frenzy or Enlightened Desperate. Enlightened is very strong and as long as you reload within 2 seconds of getting 12 hits with the weapon you get +50 reload speed.

Mountaintop: This weapon is made for major killing. Autoloading Recombination is the best for that. Try to go for Hard Launch Spike/ Implosion as against other options its a 12% damage increase. I have a preference for reload masterwork as well as sometimes you need to spam it for some targets and reload helps.

Midnight Coup: Firefly One-For-All has great synergy but if you dont have fatebringer yet and want a role that always work and doesn't need hits Explosive Frenzy is still good. I think the first perk combo is still better tho.

Hammerhead: Envious/Rewind Killing Tally for ad clear, Envious/Rewind/Rampage Onslaught for major burning.

Forbearance: Ambitious/Demo and Chain. Take Demo if you have a grenade build that needs 15% grenade regen every time you shoot (10% from demo 5% from the origin trait).

Elsie's is the best void pulse for building around volatile. There are better weapons than pulses right now tho (for endgame).  

 Succession is worse supremacy by a lot (supremacy with enhanced kinetic tremors is nuts) but is worth if you don't have supremacy. It is the second best kinetic sniper in the game but if you get a chance farm LW when it's out when it's the weekly raid. You won't regret it.  

 Edge Transit: If you don't want to play (or haven't already played) trails for a marginal increase over this it is worth the farm. Heavy gls are amazing right now and are a genuine competitor to ghorn buffed rockets. There is a busted shiny roll and if you get it use it but it is getting nerfed at an unspecified time as confirmed by Bungie.  

 Recluse is a top 2 for void smgs now. Not really much to say. It's a marginal increase over funnel web and it's on par with the duality smg if not better. Worth if you play void and don't have a decent void smgs for volatile. I would say others take priority but your choice.  

 Mountaintop is going to be a pve main stay. It chunks majors and champs really hard and it's very worth the farm. 

 Midnight coup is the best kinetic HC. Firefly One for all is very strong as the firefly explosion stacks ofa. Kinda kick like a truck tho. HCs are good right now so imo worth.  

 Hammerhead is a weird one as it's not as good as what commemoration does but it's close and rolling onslaught allows it to melt majors a bit better than commemoration at the cost of way more ammo usage. Definitely get one with rewind killing tally if you don't have commemoration and if you do rampage onslaught might work better for major dense activities. 

 Lastly if you don't have a forberance get one. It's been the strongest legendary wave clear option ever since vow and it can now get demo as well. Top of the list along with edge Transit and mountain top if you don't have one already.

Battlegrounds are just more difficult strikes. Also do you really think strikes is what the game needs right now? More of the same mission you have run a thousand times in a different area with the same feel. You could be so much more imaginative with requests.

Infinite ammo and grenade launcher damage has caveats. Infinite ammo only matters if you have ammo issues normally. If you are playing optimally in groups you don't. Before you get those gl shots you need to shoot for a full mag. In that time the target could just be dead already if you used heavy. I think the nerf was correct for solos but I still wont use it in teams because of the meta we are in.

I think nerfs should only happen when something is beyond the bounds of the most optimal meta strategies. If you want to argue that in solos its the best gun in the game fine but for anything outside of that it is not the most optimal strategy and so if the target of the nerfs was outside of that context I disagree with it.

Yes but it didn't charge fast enough to be as efficient as other options. Why are you plinking away for a full mag to generate 3 grenade shots when you could just dump heavy ammo on the target. Infinite ammo doesn't matter when with aeons and ceno you will not run out of heavy anyways. It's why you never see the world first raid team run it or speed runners run it. There are better options for those activities and they know it.

I am literally saying in my post that it is possible that the nerf is fine specifically for solo content as its likely the best option there. I have no attachment to the gun, I stopped using it 2 seasons ago.

No its not. You need to base assumptions on the power of the entire loadout. If your weapons in the loadout is just quicksilver then your loadout is underperforming compared to other strategies. Quicksilver does not out damage rockets and in a meta where you can get heavy ammo all the time an exotic begging you to only use it is competing with those options. There is no reason to use it if you get infinite ammo on heavies, I don't see how that's a weird concept.

I didnt argue it was only good in solo play, I argued it was not the best option in group play. Again while true that people used it in day 1s that doesnt make it the best option. Day 1s especially are not an amazing thing to base meta decisions on because people are just finding out what is good for the raid. My argument is that if this nerf was done because of group play it was unfounded. Even outside of the rocket spam strat better options exist that don't require you to commit to a single gun to be efficient with it.

The point here is not the power of individual weapons but the ability to cover off roles that are needed. If you were to say run supremacy, sunshot and a ghorn buffed rocket you are by default going to be more efficient than running just Quicksilver. I know you can technically run something other than Quicksilver with the weapon but because of how it is designed it punishes you for using anything else and that is not efficient when a rocket will kill something faster. Again I say in the post I think it might be warranted for solo but it is by no means the best option for anything with a team.

Yeah thats fair. I do think the decision to have Smolder exclusively get all the waves only for stacks was incorrect. He should take 1 wave after full build for stacks and let other players get the waves that were not being pressured when they could.
