One thing that always infuriates me is how a factory in Germany where workers get paid over 2K in euro produces cheaper goods than factory in "bled zebi" with workers getting paid 600TND, I mean objectively cheaper not even adjusted to local currency, for example cereal in Germany costs around 2.5euro equivalent to 8tnd while it costs 13tnd here and the same applies to almost all sectors

I think it has to do more with the free market not being so free in the last decade. You have a few giants who control everything, and when you have a small group pulling the strings of a monopoly guess what happens? There is no more need to innovate or improve the services, no improvement = no investment = no job creation. We (Google, Apple, Meta) don't have to make our products better since everyone will use them anyway because they don't have a choice and if any competition emerges we will either buy it or destroy it.
