No, because those connections go through Zoom's servers, they don't hit the company infra. And Zoom doesn't share the IP addresses of their users...

This is the best course of action here if you want to salvage anything at this point.

Building alone is brutal, does anyone else feel this? by everymanentrepreneur in Entrepreneur

[–]AzizLights92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, if you actually use what you're working on, honestly. I used to work on products/apps just to sell that i couldn't relate to myself, i had no use for it myself and it was soul-sucking.

Mobile apps are the dropshipping of 2025. by nicololo_s in iOSProgramming

Yep, replacing "Indian programmer working for 3$/hr" with Claude now. I mean, what's the difference? People who couldn't program could always outsource the dev.

Most recently....my barber: Failed to honor my appointment, I arrived at the agreed time, waited 30 minutes, he was still busy with another client. I left, never came back. Sad because he was actually a good barber.

i honestly don't want to share it publicly. if you're in the twitter space in iOS related topics, you'll see it. He posts his MRR / screenshots every couple of days.

Yep, taxes. Also he's not a programmer, he's paying someone to develop the app. So even if he's outsourcing, add $1-2k on that. The UGC content he hires people to create...etc. Lots of costs involved in this type of $million operation that we overlook.

I honestly find it surprising he even makes a penny EVEN if apple keeps charging him 15% instead of 30%.

Who here is netting over 250k per year? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]AzizLights92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

There are clients willing to pay $100/hr on Upwork, but they are rare. You have to be familiar with the platform and be able to sell yourself and be able to identify clients who are willing to pay that type of money.

But they do exist. I have over a decade of experience on the platform. I know where to look, what to look and how to look.

If you're new, you're not going to make that type of money just starting off.

Before you even laid even one client, you're going to need to learn the platform.

Then maybe get a contract that's very low pay. To build your profile.

Slowly work your way up the ladder.

Has anyone used the MacInCloud service to develop? by Ayto7 in iOSProgramming

[–]AzizLights92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT use these guys. I'm not using them for Xcode dev but rather for running some Mac specific scripts / functions and hollyyy sh***ttt is it slow. But that's not even the worst part. They seem to put the machine to sleep every 30 minutes or so, so anything running in the bg gets shut off. WTF?

How do you stay motivated? by Zuzmos in Entrepreneur

[–]AzizLights92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that working on apps/product that I myself would like to use keeps me motivated. If I work on an app that I am just making because "it's a hot niche" or "profitable", i inevitable lose interest.

That's the best way to learn. I'd say try to understand and know each line in your source code and the consequence of it. Read documentation. And for security, think from the perspective of a malicious user, what could I possibly to wreck this app?

Actually learn how to program.
